What do you use it for? So far I use it as a creamy pasta sauce and with baked potato.
I'm not keen on smoked salmon.

Looking for other ideas!

On cinnamon and raisin bagels
On a sandwich instead of mayo
Stirred into a tomato sauce for a creamy pasta bake

bellac11 · 30/04/2023 18:46

I never buy philadelphia, its got rubbish in it, but own brand is completely pure (most own brands anyway)

And Ive swapped to ricotta anyway as I find cream cheese too rich

Cheesecake brownies. We've made some today

I just have it on those little cheesy crackers.

<boring>

ghostbusters · 30/04/2023 18:57

On toast or oatcakes with either avocado, black pepper or a spicy tomato chutney.
My kids eat it on plain bagels.
I also use it in creamy pasta sauce.

ghostbusters · 30/04/2023 18:58

Most deliciously in cream cheese icing on top of carrot cake. Yum.

HinCogNeetOh · 30/04/2023 18:59

Mix with a squirt or three of sweet chilli sauce to make a quick dip.

Stir into a pasta dish.

Cheese cake, ofc

Motnight · 30/04/2023 19:00

On rice cakes!

BotherThat · 30/04/2023 19:01

Mix it in to pesto pasta. Delicious!

adagio · 30/04/2023 19:03

On ritz crackers
On rice cakes
with the kids to make ‘easy no bake cheesecake’
Kids like it with those cream and chive crisp things that taste like dunker tubes

we only use own brand tho as I am cheap 😁

baklavagoddess · 30/04/2023 19:03

Make jalepeno poppers

LadyKenya · 30/04/2023 19:04

I use store brands for bagels, and cheesecakes.

Londontomadrid · 30/04/2023 19:04

Use it on crackers
In sauce for pasta
I put some in fish pie/chicken pie for the sauce
Mix it with herbs and garlic and other spices and use as a base for homemade pizza (or buy the garlic and herb one if lazy)
Also used in sandwiches instead of butter etc (either that or hummus) I love crusty bread, spread of Philly and layer with emmental cheese and salad. Yum!
it's a staple in our fridge!

lemonyellows · 30/04/2023 19:05

My son has it in a sandwich with marmite 🫣

Londontomadrid · 30/04/2023 19:05

Oh and use it for bagels with salmon and dill. Yum

Clymene · 30/04/2023 19:08

Mix it with cooked spinach and black pepper and stuff butterflied chicken breasts, wrap in prosciutto and bake

Tannedandfake · 30/04/2023 19:09

On a salmon fillet. Piledelphia spread on too. Home made breadcrumbs. About 30 mins

PolaDeVeboise · 30/04/2023 19:11

Turn the tub upside down and put the whole tub out on a plate. Cover with a bottle of sweet chilli sauce, get a box of ritz crackers, take one out, and scoop out a bit of the sauce covered Philly. You won't regret it. Crack.

enjoyingscience · 30/04/2023 19:13

With marmite in a bagel. Marmite has to go on the top half, Philly on the bottom. Excellent breakfast!

heathspeedwell · 30/04/2023 19:19

I'm sitting here heartbroken that timidities are not, in fact, a delicious treat that I hadn't discovered yet and that I could really enjoy in a granary sandwich!

Sometimes I come across these treats that every one else seemed to know about and I didn't.

SinisterKnitter · 30/04/2023 19:22

Often use it to make this:

Also Dishoom style bacon naans, and sometimes for cheesecake.

BarbaraofSeville · 30/04/2023 19:26

@SinisterKnitter beat me to it, Dishoom bacon naan with bacon and sweet chilli sauce in a ready made naan (cheat version).

Sewingdufus · 30/04/2023 19:38

Ooh, lots of good suggestions.

I like to mix with tuna and lemon juice and use as a sandwich filling.
