omg I’ve just emailed DD’s teacher a picture of DH’s pants

Was trying to attach a picture of her posing next to her coronation carriage recycling creation (horrific) and also tapped to attach a picture I sent to DH earlier of his pants on the floor next to the washing basket but not actually in the basket to ask wtf he thought he was doing by leaving them there. They’re very clearly pants. Fuck my life.

Do I email to apologise? Ignore and pretend I didn’t know? Oh God

Just send the photo you intended to send and say “sorry, please ignore previous photo which was sent in error.”

This is soooo funny, you will definitely make her laugh!

I send my boss (also a good friend thankfully!) and very rude what’s app meant for my husband last week. I deleted it and she tells me she didn’t have time to read it but I think she’s just being kind!

I think teachers get more than their fair share of mis-sent photos.
If it is not obscene, delete forget. Unless the DH hideously undermines mum at parents evening. "Mr Maybe, I understand your concerns re your son, but are you setting a suitable role model and putting your under pants in the laundry basket?"
They will delete it and try to forget.

i misread the title in the first instance and thought you had sent a picture of DHs ‘parts’ and then you might well have been in trouble….

Quickly send the teacher a brief email saying something like "so sorry, please ignore, sent in error" plus a string of blushing and/or horrified emojis.

Could be worse OP. I thought you were going to say your DH was wearing the pants, or worse, like that scene with John Cleese in A Fish Called Wanda!

I don't know how it's possible to accidentally upload a photo without realising it. Does it not show a preview before you send it?

On my phone if you attach multiple
photos to an email it previews them all down the draft but if you don’t think you’ve attached more than one photo you wouldn’t scroll down to check them, so I didn’t and just pressed send from the top.

Can’t recall past 60 seconds sadly

Told DH and he laughed fortunately. Have said I’ll continue to send pics to various teachers each time pants fail to make it into the basket 😂

Teachers have seen worse

Like the time ds2 took my vibe to school with him-he was caught waving it around the playground (he was about 13)

Or the same child taking 67 packets of super noodles (my mother buys everything in bulk and dd liked them)
He carried them round with him all day

They'll just laugh it off-it happens
