Where do you buy your earrings from?

At the grand age of 46, I’ve finally had my ears pierced 😂

I’ve bought a couple of pairs of ‘going out’ earrings, but where do you buy sinple, high quality (but not too expensive) daily ones from?

Thank you!

Have a look on esty. Huge variety and great bargains be found, lots of unique designs too.

I recently discovered MUKA, an independent brand. They are really lovely and I love knowing that they are made by one person. Also they dispatch really quick

I used to get them from links of London but they have since ceased trading so I am now watching a few on eBay.

I look at some on instagram. If I like the style, I may buy that way. My taste is quite arty though.

Piercing mania because my stupid ears react to anything except implant grade titanium Hmm

Oliver Bonas.

Oliver Bonas, little gift shops. Silver only or 22ct due to gold allergy. For anything Iver £50, I'll ask DH.

I’ve landed lucky in Tk Maxx a few times -worth keeping an eye on if you have a local branch

omega4ever · 27/04/2023 22:55

Etsy here too.

Following for other sellers as also have newly pierced ears in middle age!

Campervangirl · 27/04/2023 23:08

I hate to say it because I feel it's aimed at younger people but I get my earrings from pandora, they have a massive range and are affordable

SqueakyDinosaur · 27/04/2023 23:20

Loads of good suggestions here. The thing I'd suggest is making sure that the posts, at least, are hypoallergenic - stainless steel, gold or silver. If they are then just pick what you like, but steer away from heavy ones.

I’ve looked at some of these suggestions but I’m not seeing any but not too expensive) daily ones
Some are lovely…but seriously, £175!

A good selection of most of the above is avaliable at a snip of the price, used on eBay.
Please let us not forget how amazing it is that we can buy items such as earrings second hand and deftly bypass contributing to the climatic and environmental impact of buying new stuff. I buy all my jewellery pre-loved and it is always absolutely fine.
