Mine is currently snoring away clasping 2 pairs of Peppa Pig sunglasses and a book she stole from nursery entitled "I can say Thank You"

DD is now 3 so faaaaaar to grown up for this sort of stuff, but I have a fabulous photo of her from last year fast asleep clutching a ballet tutu in one hand and a wooden spoon in the other.

BugsyDrakeTableScape · 26/04/2023 19:26

@Saffronn sounds adorable!

Oh my 3.5yo takes a little toy remote control everywhere with him.

Have a funny pic of my toddler clutching a hard poky triceratops as seen on the baby monitor, looks like a torture method.

A small toy forklift, a big tractor, a print out of a badge (don’t ask) and a plastic sink bowl with more toys and a muslin in it

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 26/04/2023 19:29

A fire fighter hat from the dressing up box (big, plastic, bright yellow)
she had her lunch time nap today with a whisk!

My DS is older now but went through a phase of going to bed with a D lock - one of those heavy padlocks for bikes…

FraterculaArctica · 26/04/2023 19:32

My 3 year old tried to take a cactus to bed the other night 😂

BugsyDrakeTableScape · 26/04/2023 19:35

My eldest DD used to love to take our 100 easy soup recipes book to bed

Me 🥲

Pahpahpotato · 26/04/2023 19:37

One of his britains tractors… I’m sure a face full of JCB Fastrac will be super comfy for him tonight 🤣

BugsyDrakeTableScape · 26/04/2023 19:57

She briefly awoken - screamed, added a fairy wand to the mix, back to sleep

Mine is 4 but wearing her new slippers in bed and she tried to reason me into allowing her to wear them to nursery.

Grace204 · 26/04/2023 20:03

A range of plastic sea creatures, a t-Rex and a tree

neverwakeasleepingbaby · 26/04/2023 20:08

A closed pot of play dough and a blown up balloon. I'll fish it out in a bit

I am assuming a plastic tree?! 😂

Lampshadejen · 26/04/2023 20:10

3, yes 3, Easter egg baskets (no chocolate in them), 1 filled with toys and has just demanded the “treasure” DH moved out of his way a couple of days ago - 3 little canvas wall pictures and some parts of a matching game

FTMbg · 26/04/2023 20:17

Not down yet tonight, but last night it was a stack of four pastel coloured plastic picnic bowls.

Mumofboyss · 26/04/2023 20:20

Ive got a 3 year old.. and for the last few days he has taken his 50p coin to bed with him and held it all night. If he wakes up and its not in his hand, i have to go in, fish it out from wherever it is in the bed and give it back to him so he can go back to sleep.. small children are odd arent they?!

ElaOfSalisbury · 26/04/2023 20:22

Soup ladle
It has been now removed.

Veryverycalmnow · 26/04/2023 20:29

This brings back memories of large plastic toys being prized from grippy hands in the night. I must be mad but I miss it. Now he's so sensible.

rolypoly836 · 26/04/2023 20:30

She's wearing her gloves!!!

Shortcutsgalore · 26/04/2023 20:33

My fringe. Currently lying on the floor while he strokes it.

PuffinPuffinPenguin · 26/04/2023 20:34

3 penguins (which are actually 2 penguins and a puffin in disguise as it doesn't matter how many times I tell him it's a puffin he's still adamant it's a penguin), 2 cars, and 2 storybooks. Oh and his water.
Today he travelled light.

This is the cutest thread I’ve ever read. My LO has a favourite yellow spoon but is not even 1 so can’t be trusted to take it to bed yet!

WombatBombat · 26/04/2023 20:36

He wanted to sleep inside his Little Tikes car in the cot.

He’d managed to bring it inside and up two stairs before I persuaded him otherwise.
