Heating not on (was on for a couple of hours yesterday evening).

Currently a chilly 16.5°C.

Sick of being cold 🥶

19-20c. It’s pretty humid out there today which is helping. Heating hasn’t been on for a couple of weeks. I’m in north Landon

saltwater1985 · 23/04/2023 15:39

We're on the Yorkshire coast it's 9°C outside right now

11° outside, thermostat is showing 21 but it's upstairs and downstairs is chiller , probably 19ish. We have a draughty old Edwardian house, no heating on today.

SugarSyrup · 23/04/2023 15:42

Bloody freezing, it's 14 in my living room. I love my home but it's always freezing, even in summer, which is nice in the heatwaves but shit all the other times

Georgig · 23/04/2023 15:43

22 degrees. London, have had heating on most of the day.

AndyMurraysCat · 23/04/2023 15:46

15°C

DanceMonster · 23/04/2023 15:47

20 degrees, because that’s what my heating is currently set to.

SeasonsBleatings · 23/04/2023 15:48

Currently the thermostat is at 17 which means most rooms are 18. I can't stand a chilly house when it's raining outside.

HeidiUpTheMountain · 23/04/2023 15:54

Hovering about 17C, with a few small windows open for fresh air. We’ve turned the heating off now, but might need it for a couple of hours tomorrow evening when it’s due to drop to freezing outside.

The thermostat is never set about 18C even when the heating is on, and we are fine at that temp. Slippers and hoodies in the winter.

euff · 23/04/2023 15:54

Currently 16.5 inside and 12 outside. No heating on yet today. If I'm doing stuff it's okay. If sitting still working or watching tv it feels a little cold.

AuntieMarys · 23/04/2023 15:55

14 degrees in the house

coffeecupsandwaxmelts · 23/04/2023 15:55

16 degrees - the heating hasn't been on in a couple of weeks now.

It doesn't feel cold.

cocksstrideintheevening · 23/04/2023 16:09

Don't have a thermostat so do t know but heating has been off for a couple of days now SE London, it's muggy.

SundaeLove · 23/04/2023 16:11

18.5 degrees

emmathedilemma · 23/04/2023 16:14

17.1 heating is still on timer and has been on every morning and evening apart from a couple of nights over Easter weekend. I’m sitting under a blanket 🥶

Eminybob · 23/04/2023 16:15

It says 18.5 but I don't believe that for a second I'm freezing.

purpleme12 · 23/04/2023 16:20

17 at the minute.
Window's open. 17 is about the highest it's been.
Haven't needed the heating on for ages

Highworth · 23/04/2023 16:34

19°. Hard floors making my feet feel chilly. Need to buy new slippers. Mine have fallen apart.

NoSquirrels · 23/04/2023 16:37

Same same.

16.5 would be positively balmy in my house.

bellswithwhistles · 23/04/2023 16:40

14 degrees. Just paid BG £1000 for the quarter /Dec/Jan/Feb and now bill for March and 2 weeks of April has come through at £400.

Literally cannot afford this at all.

Heating is barely bloody on. It seriously can't continue at these prices?!

Mynewname2023 · 23/04/2023 16:42

It’s bloody cold for late April! I’ve been trying not to put the heat on but the evenings feel like winter at the moment. And the weather is going to 1 degrees on Monday night here 🥶

ilovewispas · 23/04/2023 17:07

22.5.

Heating was on from 6:30am to 8am but been off since.

heidihigh · 23/04/2023 17:08

16 degrees currently. The heating will kick in if it drops below this - I keep resisting the urge to put the heating on for an hour or so, it seems to have gone very cold all of a sudden Sad

fussychica · 23/04/2023 17:09

We're away so set the heating to 14 thinking it wouldn't drop below that but it's been on in the night, some nights several times. Can't believe how lousy the temperatures are looking for the next couple of weeks. Was thinking we'd be coming home to mild May temps. Doesn't look like it!

hartof · 23/04/2023 17:19

No heating, 20 degrees. Although the kitchen windows are open so it could possibly be warmer. It's a new build so holds heat well, great in winter, feels like torture in summer when you literally can't get cool.
