I am starving & currently considering my options for something that'll be gentle on my stomach🤔

OP posts:
Pestispeeved · 18/04/2023 11:12

Sweated leeks with a sesame sauce, fried egg and barley bread.

Pseudonamed · 18/04/2023 11:12

Crackers with pate cheese and red pepper relish.

purplecorkheart · 18/04/2023 11:14

I am trying to decide whether to go to the nearest shop and get one of their plastic sandwiches or greasy hot food option or go to a local bakery that is a bit of a trek from work and get one of their nice sandwiches.

tatteddear · 18/04/2023 11:15

Salmon pate, toast, rice crackers, probably a few giant wotsits and most likely the last Easter egg. Grin

Whiskers4 · 18/04/2023 12:01

Mine is based on what I need to use up. So one piece of bread made into two small sandwiches. Also, just found the some bananas which are just about edible - I was convinced I bought them for Easter and couldn't find them. One can go with last of natural yogurt I have.

Homemade soup, seeded brown toast, and I’m considering whether I should have fruit or ice cream after.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 18/04/2023 12:37

Simple chicken & cucumber sandwich with salt & vinegar crisps

ladyvimes · 18/04/2023 12:39

I’ve just had sweet potato and lentil curry with rice, peas and sweetcorn. And a shortbread biscuit. Am still hungry!

Woahtherehoney · 18/04/2023 12:39

Salt and vinegar rice cakes with some seriously strong cheddar cream cheese and cucumber - wanted something light for lunch today and that was perfect!

Anjo2011 · 18/04/2023 12:42

Birthday cake . My DD has a birthday today, we are out for dinner tonight so need to eat some at lunch time .

Turquoisa80 · 18/04/2023 12:43

Cheese salad wrap and a yum yum

UsernameTaken76 · 18/04/2023 12:45

Southern fried crispy chicken folded wraps with avocado, bacon, cheese, lettuce, red onion, tomato and sour cream. Some prawn cocktail crisps on the side

Tisfortired · 18/04/2023 12:46

Leftover roast chicken and stuffing sandwiches from yesterdays roast - may or may not make a little pot of gravy to dip it in…

stopringingme · 18/04/2023 12:48

Chicken wings, sweet potato fries and a couple of onion rings with a dip.

evtheria · 18/04/2023 12:51

I just ate leftover spaghetti bol, and 3 teeny tiny Fromage frais pots that were going OOD.

EssexMamisoa · 18/04/2023 12:51

Sainsbury’s fresh pasta tortillini. Takes four mins to cook on hob - great for Mat leave with small baby. Salad bits on the side

Miriam101 · 18/04/2023 12:52

Tuna steak, with blanched spinach, spicy beetroot and a boiled egg. Like a sort of Niçoise redux. Enjoyed.

Maple2023 · 18/04/2023 12:52

Current addiction
Aldi metro roll filled with feta, cherry tomatoes, pesto, rocket

MrsRinaDecker · 18/04/2023 12:56

Toasted English muffin filled with garlic spinach, ham, egg, and cheese. It was really tasty! But runny yolk was a bit messy so I might try flipping it / cooking it through next time. Also planning on trying some turkey patties (kinda a mock sausage patty) in place of the ham.

Season0fTheWitch · 18/04/2023 13:11

A toasted english muffin with lurpak and scrambled eggs, a sausage roll, pack of cheddars, and tunnocks caramel bar. With a rubicon energy drink. I'm starving today!

Daffodilsandbagels · 18/04/2023 13:12

Scrambled eggs on toast with a little wild garlic i foraged at the weekend!

poppym12 · 18/04/2023 13:17

Half a large honeydew melon. I had apple cake for breakfast so thought a lighter lunch would even out the cake a the paella I'm having later.

DeathMetalMum · 18/04/2023 13:17

Cheap noodles with some mushrooms tomatoes, chicken, curry powder and a bit of pepper and chorizo added.

AncientToaster · 18/04/2023 13:19

Left over roast pork and stuffing in seeded rolls with apple sauce. Was delicious.

MyMachineAndMe · 18/04/2023 13:25

I had poached eggs on toast this morning when I don't usually eat any breakfast at all. I'm now having some co-op hand cooked sea salt and Chardonnay vinegar crisps for dinner.
