I have a whole load, a baddish habit I picked up during lockdown.
Time Team Official (shows back episodes plus new digs)
1bike1world - a Scottish ex-welder called Dean pootling round Europe (and ultimately the world) with his rescue cat Nala.
Walk with Me Tim (mentioned by PP, does a great series on ‘worst rated hotels’).
Mama Doctor Jones - an American gynecologist in New Zealand, very witty and informative.
Molly Burke - blind public speaker who talks about disability and has a fab fluffy guide dog.
Saafiya Nygaard - weird lifestyle stuff with her affable boyfriend, things like mixing every colour lipstick at Sephora and seeing what colour come out of it.
The Try Guys - non- toxic American guys try out new stuff, but do look out for the drama last autumn when one of them turned out to be very toxic.
Karen Puzzles - jigsaws.
Bernadette Banner - vintage clothing and Edwardian stuff, with gratuitous shots of guinea pigs.
GeoWizard - who knew that Geoguessr could be interesting? This Brummie also invented straight-line challenges (crossing countries in a totally straight line).
FoilArmsandHog - best Irish comedians ever, put up a new sketch every week.
A Chick Called Albert - he rescues animals and incubates eggs.
Uncle Roger - Malasian comedian pretending to be 50 rips western chefs apart for their terrible Asian cookery - he ‘hates’ Jamie Oliver most of all.
Kitten Academy - fosters cats and kittens and has a 24-hour live stream.
Cash Jordan - New York realtor is very wittily rude about apartments and shows you round neighbourhoods.
ReadingthePast - I like her interpretations of history, Tudor in particular.
Cecilia Blomdahl - Swedish woman with fluffy dog and fluffy Viking man living on Svalbard.
Useful Charts - presents royal family trees.
Atomic Shrimp - half scambaiting, half food challenges (eating cheaply, foraging).
LegalEagle - very entertaining analyses of current legal issues, eg Trump indictment.
Jessica Kellgren-Fozard - posts about gay and disability issues, often with her wife.
1420 by Daniil Orain - does informal street interviews with Russians, asking their opinion on Putin, the war etc.
Good grief, that’s not even all my subscriptions, but probably enough to be getting on with. I don’t really watch much TV as such, so YouTube is something of a substitute. Hope you find something you like there!
