Good Morning All! What's everyone up to this Easter Saturday?

I'm sitting in my spot, as usual, enjoying my first cuppa. The birds are very quiet at the minute, apart from the wood pigeon cooing away, and I'm reasonably sure I've just seen a pair of doves but wasn't fast enough to the big window to look properly before they flew away.

My plans for the day are not very much again 😢 I'll finish the props I was painting yesterday and start varnishing them, and work on one of my crochet projects - not sure which one yet 🤔 There's a few household bits to be done slowly, over the course of the day, too.

I'm quite missing our weekend trips into town to the market.

Dd2 is very much looking forward to a walk to big Tesco, with dd1, for some bits we need 🤣 There's a small Asda and Lidl closer but apparently the big shop is fun 🤷‍♀️

We're having Chinese takeaway for tea - it'll take me days to finish mine but I'm really looking forward to it 😋

Lazy da at for us as we were at mum and dads for a family do yesterday and it got quite drunken! There was an excellent kitchen disco!

DP has made a fry up and the kids have cleared up but the kitchen is still a mess, however we are lying on the sofa watching the football and not dealing with it.

DS1 has gone to the football with his friend, DS2 and DSS are playing on the PS in the snug. DSD is upstairs, I imagine scrolling on her phone.

DSD has a friend coming for a sleepover later and we’re having a pizza making party later!
