Good Morning All! What's everyone up to this Easter Saturday?

I'm sitting in my spot, as usual, enjoying my first cuppa. The birds are very quiet at the minute, apart from the wood pigeon cooing away, and I'm reasonably sure I've just seen a pair of doves but wasn't fast enough to the big window to look properly before they flew away.

My plans for the day are not very much again 😢 I'll finish the props I was painting yesterday and start varnishing them, and work on one of my crochet projects - not sure which one yet 🤔 There's a few household bits to be done slowly, over the course of the day, too.

I'm quite missing our weekend trips into town to the market.

Dd2 is very much looking forward to a walk to big Tesco, with dd1, for some bits we need 🤣 There's a small Asda and Lidl closer but apparently the big shop is fun 🤷‍♀️

We're having Chinese takeaway for tea - it'll take me days to finish mine but I'm really looking forward to it 😋

Have a lovely day planned today, meeting up with my siblings and their spouses and kids for lunch, and have planned a walk with the dog in a local park. Off to a local crafts market first for a look round and will pick something up for tea later to enjoy with a glass of wine or two. Completely lazy day planned tomorrow eating chocolate so trying to burn off some calories today in advance which is the reason for the walk in the park

I am just about to get up and drink my tea. This morning, I am sorting out my new cupboards and bookshelves. They've been a long time coming and the house is a tip, so I won't get it all done today.
Brunch will be bacon, eggs, black pudding, mushrooms and tomatoes.
This afternoon and evening, I am going to a pagan mini festival. I am hoping it won't be too cold, but there is a firepit and a barn, and a big veggie curry for later.
DH is felling a large diseased tree with a friend this afternoon, the first of next year's wood supply
I'll prepare tomorrow"s laaaaamb joint, as well, studding it with garlic cloves and rosemary.

Good morning all. I'm Still in bed. I've just had a cup of tea, made by dh. Dh and ds have just gone to do some jobs at the scout Hall. Ds2 has just woken up. I have absolutely loads of washing to put away thanks to the nice weather yesterday. We're going away Monday to Friday so I need to pack as well. I'm planning on painting the skirting board in the living room. Then over to my parents for dinner with my family, my sister and her dh, who are travelling down from Scotland as we speak. We're all going away together next week, which will be lovely as my sister lives over 500+ miles away from us so we don't get to spend much time together.

Morning, we just got back from our caravan holiday yesterday so making my way through the washing. Its a nice day so will get all the caravan bedding on the line at least.

Need to do a food shop and also sort my mums food shop which I will drop in past. Dh and ds going to caravan storage to sort a few wee bits on the van.

Other than that I will do some bits around the house and read my book. Minted lamb burgers on the bbq for tea 🤤

Sitting in the garden eating breakfast enjoying the peace! Already done a 5k run with some friends, the weekly food shop, and done a load of washing which I’ve just hung out on the line. Rest of the day is working on the laptop before being taxi for DS1 tonight and hopefully finding some new suits for work!

It's like Christmas Eve here! Prepping for lunch tomorrow. Like to get as much done beforehand. Making a couple of puddings, Easter chocolate nests too. Put some decorations up and lay the table. Husband's already started the peeling! Hoping to get everything done by this afternoon so I can sit outside and enjoy the sun.

Normal weekend here for us. DH is repairing the ceiling in DS' room. I'm spending the day working on uni assignments and DS 4 has gone to the zoo with DSDs 19 and 15.

Just finishing a cup of tea in bed. I'll do a workout soon (while watching real housewives) then taking youngest DS to the local mountain bike trail. I'll jog round with him.

Then housework stuff for a bit and later this afternoon I'm going to our local outlet village with eldest DS and DD. DD has recently moved out (she's quite a bit older than her brothers) so will be nice to see her.

Still sat in my pj's drinking a coffee looking out the window at the blue skies debating on where to take dd for the day while it's nice think its likely to be the big park half hour away with a picnic for lunch.

Lazy morning here so far. DD currently glued to her tablet and I'm trying to summon some motivation for housework. Luckily we're not hosting anyone this weekend though so if it doesn't all get done it's not the end of the world.

DD has her swimming lesson later then we're off to the circus late afternoon. Might be a McDonalds or pizza tea for her depending on what time circus is over.

Then I'll be sorting out a little egg hunt for the morning once she's in bed

DH has gone to visit his sister and won't be back till tomorrow so just me and the kids.

I'll get some laundry done, maybe play a video game. We had a busy, active day yesterday so the kids will want to chill out, which works for me.

I have pizzas in the fridge, ready for dinner

I've just had my first cuppa of the day and will start thinking about what food we need to get later on (not a full weekly shop - just enough for a couple of days).

DH has taken DS3 to play football, he's really started to enjoy it which is such an achievement for him - he has autism and struggles with social activities.

I need to carry on writing school reports but it's SO monotonous! Maybe a few chocolate eggs will help.

Morning. We're at In-laws caravan for the weekend. Sun is currently out. Fil cooked breakfast and now I'm stuffed. Will be heading out for a nice walk along the beach and this evening going to the local pub for a few drinks and taking kids to arcades.

We're off to DM's later, to stay for a few days, so at the moment I'm packing. I say that, but in reality I'm laying on my bed scrolling through my phone and hoping nobody comes up to find me!

It's unlikely though. DD and DS are playing Minecraft and DH is half supervising (DS is 4 and has only just learnt how to play by himself) and half playing on the PS5.

After lunch we're going to an Easter event held by our old toddler group, then dropping DH back home and heading to DMs.

My plan today is to watch the football at 12.30pm and then a nice hot bath with my book (that i hope to finish today) Then fajitas for tea and more football! Perfect. Hope everyone else has a good long weekend.

Lazy start to the day lounging around watching the Simpsons so far but we are heading out for a fried breakfast in a bit, then off to the social club to watch the football before catching the train down to the beach.

DH has gone to London for the football so won't be back until dinner time.

DC are gaming in their rooms. I am having a lazy morning, had a lovely lie in and just lying on my bed thinking about getting up and showered.

It's lovely and sunny outside so want to get some washing out. This afternoon we are meeting some friends at a pub with a big play area. Chilli for dinner and then a film later on.

DP has gone away for the weekend for a sports tournament and the DDs are both in narky grumpy teenage mode (already had an argument with DD1, DD2 is just sulking but I don’t know why), and I’m sitting on the sofa feeling sorry for myself. I need to pick myself up and do something but I don’t know what!

Been in and out of the garden all morning, hung out some washing that will actually dry today, did some ironing, watered the pots of tulips, planted crocosmia Lucifer that I split last year, now have three lots around the garden.

Just waiting now for someone to collect item put on Freecycle yesterday, after that it's more gardening rest of day. Lovely! 😄

DP is working and I'm stuck in the kitchen.

Same old,same old really.

i'm a little shocked at myself... i cut and coloured my own hair (have done since before lockdown); saved ££££ ( live in london). now recovering from this mad uncharacteristic bout of sat productivity while gearing up to go lastminute panick easter egg shopping

We've all camped out on the sofa in our movie room with easter eggs, crisps and juice. Just recovering from a week long bug that wiped us all out so we've let the kids do what they want today. We even moved a fridge upstairs so we could have cold drinks 😅

I've been to the garden centre with my husband and bought a few plants I now need to pot up. Planning a quiet pm of pottering in the garden, cups of tea and maybe some knitting if I have time. Sausage and mash for tea and might break out the Easter eggs and the kids (all teens) they can have one early. Then I can too
