It seems like any time anyone has a virus of which there are many people auto suggest covid. Which is not logical at all. I wonder though how many people haven't had it. I had pneumonia in Jan 2020, ds2 had a positive test 2021. Nobody else tested positive tho, he wasn't actually ill either.

My 14 year old - we've had it in the house twice, first time DS, then me, second time DH, then me again. Extremely mild for all both times (literally slight sore throat for 4-5 days), but we did test everyone else a few times around then. No sign of it in 14YO. They do have a lot of colds and I have to wonder if one of them was COVID because there were some times we didn't test as they seemed to have the exact same cold that never showed as COVID a few weeks later so we just assumed it couldn't be.
