Daisy May Cooper tipped to be 'M' in upcoming Bond films

Do you think Daisy May would be a great M, and if not who would you choose? I can't say I know much about her, I don't think I've ever seen her in anything. If I had to cast M I'd choose Anna Maxwell Martin.

Honestly I can’t think of a worse person to cast. DMC is dreadful.

I like her ( though wish she’d stop posting pics of herself but whatever) but think she is a comic actress and definitely not M. It needs to be someone with gravitas, experience etc. basically someone older.

And she already has plenty of MI 5 experience too......

I'm hoping this is fake news. I think this will be disastrous if it's true. Ralph Fiennes is fine as M. If they wanted to recast, there are thousands of better options than DMC. M should have poise and gravitas and years of experience. It should be an older person who is more of a straight, serious actor.

My choices would Kristin Scott-Thomas, Damien Lewis, or Thandiwe Newton.

I have an irrational dislike of Nicola walkers halting delivery, so please no.

I personally favour a Bond-Motherland crossover, with Julia as M juggling her kids with keeping tabs on Bond, while her in-laws “help” her and her husband keeps phoning to remind her to pick up some chamois cream on the way home from work.

Though if it has to be DMC, we really need Kurtan to play Q.
