What's best with Gammon!

What sauce goes best with Gammon - I've seen people have parsley sauce with it (but I always associate that with fish) or just gravy (I like to make my own but I can't with Gammon). So any suggestions. Thinking of roasties and veg with it if that helps!! Thanks

Baked potatoes and cauliflower cheese are my favourite accompaniments to gammon.

I like it with celery on white sauce so I suppose that gives some sauce. White sauce with pineapple in it is quite nice too.

Roasted Gammon in honey is nice ,or in a slow cooker,covered in coke,or fanta etc.

Cauli cheese, onion rings, fried leeks, creamy cheese leeks, sautéed potatoes.

A mustard flavour sauce

Yeah i slow cook mine in cola too Delicious and tender.

The only sauce i put with our gammon is tomato ketchup 😃 plus egg and chips obvs.

Parsley sauce for me. With loads of parsley (more than you'd use for fish).

Yes! Though I like to make my cauli cheese quite mustardey (I’m sure that’s a word).

Pineapple slices

Pineapple slices and red wine.

Cumberland Sauce - you need Port, Orange and Redcurrant sauce ( from a jar), it's lovely!

Celeriac chips and a spicy sweetcorn chutney.

Or apple sauce with ginger added is nice too.

We keep it simple. Egg and chips.

then your choice of either ketchup (nah) or mayo (YUM!) or brown sauce (but that’s wrong too!)

Roast potatoes and creamy cheesy leeks

Gammon, with cheese bechamel sauce (with leeks and cauliflower) mashed potatoes and boiled peas 👍

Hot sweet mustard sauce

I just put one in the sc with carrots, onion, celery, peppers, haricot beans, smoked paprika, tinned tomatoes, garlic, tomato purée and Worcester sauce. Will have it with crusty bread 🥖
