Anyone been to Abba Voyage?

Taking my mum to a 3pm show there. I wondered if anyone could advise-

The website says to arrive an hour early. Is there a lot of queuing etc?

If we are there early, are there things to do before the show starts, eg merch stalls, a bar?

Thanks!

Didn’t find the queues too bad, was busy once inside. Thought it was very well organised overall. There are bars/merch stands.

Enjoy it - I thought it was fabulous!

My mum went last night- said it was excellent!
She said it was very well organised, including the transport if you go via the DLR. You do the security checks etc

I absolutely loved it. There is a MN thread already with loads of information. I will try and find it.

Sorry looks like the link no longer works

I went , really enjoyed the show, but I feel that an hour before hand is too long to looking at overpriced souvenir tat.

An hour is about right but it’s vv well organised. Go, you’ll have a blast!

I think we arrived about 30 minutes before. No need to get there an hour early. We had time to go to the toilets and have a drink.
If you have tickets for the dance floor - yikes they are packed in there like sardines.

DD and I went late November , we go for a Christmas Night Out and I am overly fond of an ABBA Tribute Blush

We got ther about an hour early , found out from the tickets which gate we were going through then went to one of the coffee/wine hubs for a cup of coffee first .
Once you're inside there's more food/drink , TShirts etc
Toilets are good , plentiful and clean.
We were on the Dance Floor zone . ( I wore a cross body bag for all my valuables so hands free -for the dancing and waving )

There were a few songs I didn't recognise and from the looks on other peoples faces I dont think they did either !
My only gripe was my Number 1 Favourite ABBA song wasn'r played and my Number 2 Favourite was sung by the backing singers , I was pissed off .

After a very fw minutes you forget they're CGI and really do believe the show is real !

I;d like to go again, it is a pricey night out though. (£200 incl insurance )
On the way back , the DLR only let a set number through at a time so the trains weren't swamped which made it easier to travel .

I really think they could do a lot more with the pre show experience considering how much the tickets cost and how short the actual show is.
