Do you think the different colours of mini eggs taste different? DH and I can’t agree.

Yellow taste different 100%. They’re my favourite!

Yellow definitely have a nicer taste than the others - I wish they would sell them in their own packs.

They taste different to me. Yellow is best, then white. Not overly keen on purple and the rest are nice.

my boyfriend and mum when I was 16, they didn’t believe me so we did a blind taste test and I could tell each time which was yellow.

Am I crazy to say that there used to be blue Cadbury mini eggs?

Yellow ones definitely used to taste different (better) than the rest, but I think they are now less distinct than the used to be.

This. I've been hoovering mini eggs since they appeared in the shops. Luckily I have an excuse as I'm pregnant. That's valid, right?

Absolutely, @PutinTheFuckingBasket. DH bought a multipack today that contains 10 smaller bags “ideal for egg hunts” in a desperate attempt to ration our consumption.

I don’t like the yellow ones. They go a bit slimy and have an odd taste.

At least you have an excuse! I'm not pregnant just greedy.

The yellow ones used to taste noticeably different but they don’t any more and haven’t for quite a few years since the recipe changed. Gutted because they used to be my favourites.

You can get dark chocolate mini eggs in the US. To do a proper taste test you'd need those as well. I'm sure at least one of the milk choc mini eggs tastes different but usually too busy shovelling them down to check!
