Ours are open on the fylde coast. A couple of the colleges aren't though.
We have a few inch at most.

I think it would have helped to say where you were in your OP 😂. All schools open in the SE near us as there’s been no snow!

I've not woken mine yet lol. They can stay in bed as long as possible 😂😂.

3 day weekend plus strike for two days next week.

Just a smattering here in Manchester so I assume all open as normal. They've made such a big thing of the snow on the news it's easy to think the whole country is snowed under.

Not sure about DS's school yet but he's not going in either way as he's ill. We have lots of snow, but thought the rain would have washed it away last night. It's been coming down heavy all morning and we're absolutely covered again. It snowed literally all day yesterday and is forecast until lunch time today and apparently on and off all next week too. We're in South Derbyshire.

I'm in Rotherham and schools/ colleges my children attend and the one I work at are all shut due to snow.

No snow here (East). Did close in December for a day when we had very heavy snow.

I'm in the South. Schools all open today. On Wednesday one of the local secondaries was closed, even though roads had been gritted and everywhere else was perfectly OK with the 2 inches of snow (that soon melted).
Guessing they have more staff out of area as friends of mine several towns over had worse conditions than we did.

Yep. Brum. Husband gone in the train - which was on time . One year he walked ( nearly 5 miles ).
actually the snow here ( south ) worse than there ( central )

Anyone on here live in the Lakes? Supposed to be travelling up there today for the weekend. Snow pretty bad here, but think once on main roads, should be okay.

I'm in Devon and have just put washing on the line (although it may rain)
Not had any snow at all- although some higher parts have I think.

The schools near me are all open. We've had a lot of snow, it's been coming down for at least 3 hours already this morning, but it doesn't seem to be settling.

Thick snow here in my part of Yorkshire and it's still falling!
School have said they are open for those who can safely travel in so mine are having a snow day. ❄️ ⛄

Depends which way you are travelling and when.
