Do you remember these bags from the 90s

Era of Benetton and sweater shop sweaters.

Backpack were big typically a flap over and two from pockets but I had a really distinctive one.

The one I'm trying to remember was was tartan and had thin realleather straps with a buckle and the buckle was also real leather and it had a distinctive swivelly mechanism.

It was a good brand I'm sure maybe Le Sac?

I used to design for Dash in the 90’s. Designed many a hideous shell suit too🫣

Remember when a River Island carrier bag was the height of cool? It was literally the only acceptable bag you could carry your PE kit around in my secondary school. Reusing carriers until they wore out long before it was a thing.

@Whattheladybird yes!! mine was nearly see through it had worn out so much but that was only acceptable bag for pe kit.

No much much further north than Hull but liking the fact that others were shopping in similar centres all over the country 😀
