Met Officers being investigated- Katie Price’s son

Katie Price's son, Harvey, has allegedly been the subject of "inappropriate and derogatory" images shared by a number of Metropolitan Police officers via WhatsApp.

The allegations are understood to concern officers' involvement in a group chat between 2016 and 2018.

Reacting to the notifying letter, Price said “It's disgusting that police officers from here have felt the need to laugh and use disgusting content on Harvey by creating a what's app group."

So disgusted by this but no longer surprised 😡

That is horrific if true, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Just despicable.

People are so callous and base, not surprised.

I read the BBC article yesterday so yes, it's true. Apparently it also happened when he was just 8 years old :( Hopefully Harvey is completely unaware of these vile people.

Harvey would have been 14 in 2016.

It feels like there is something in the news about the behaviour (often criminal) of this force every day. At this stage it’s hard to believe that decent officers are anything other than a small minority.

Police need a complete restructure with new leadership at the top across all forces, update to training for new officers and all existing officers to complete it.

Fundamental change in their culture and attitude is needed.

Wow. So it's true then? Imagine if one of those fith went on to have a disabled child or had a stroke themselves? I bet they would wetting themselves In the hilarity of it all. Racist and disablist scum who will never ever change as they rot from.the inside out.

As if poor Harvey, and thus his entire family, hadn't already suffered enough after public cruelty from certain quarters.

To his credit, he's a wonderful ambassador for Mencap. Using his platform to tackle precisely that kind of stigma and discrimination those bullying officers were pathetic enough to think amusing.

Oh the irony.

Happens all the time, in every walk of life. A whatsapp group with humour - albeit, i doubt most of us would select Harvey as a subject.

KP on the other hand is just vile and should be in prison for her repeated offenses and has used Harvey as ‘a factor’ in getting leniency in court appearances. (She’s a regular at my local magistrates court.)

but about the cops - I wonder if just being a member of a whatsapp group will cost them their job, or if there will need to be a positive reaction, from members, or actually posted something vile for the consequences to land on them. Potentially a lesson for anyone whose company policy encompasses whatsapp or has a general ‘bringing into disrepute’ clause.

Im not in many whatsapp groups myself, school parents and a food related group for an event i go to. But even in those there’s the occasional bit of humour - that I don’t find funny.

I have/ had 3 friends in the met. 2 have left for this reason. They won't talk about it too much, but say the culture is unbearable.

There is nothing humorous about making jokes at the expense of disabled children ,nothing ,Katie prices,s own actions are irrelevant to thst.

I know Katie gets lots of stick and has her problems but I've always loved how fiercely protective she is over Harvey, I hope he's oblivious to all this, its disgusting, hope they all get sacked.

Totally agree on the disabled children part.

As for KP - I have zero time for criminals. So I’m not surprised she’s publicising this.
