Mine brought a tear to my eye because he wrote inside that it's not the prettiest card but he bought it for what it said. It's so true

Mine is a fairly ordinary “wife” card but inside he has written:

“roses are red, and you’re my bestest chum, but what I love most… is your lovely bum!”

I realise that a run of the mill MN review of this card would be “tacky” “gross” “ick” “does he only love you for your body?” “and you had kids with this man!?” and, of course “LTB”

but I adore it!

DH and I have never bothered with cards or gifts for Valentines Day, but seeing these cards makes me wish we did. It’s his Birthday next week, so we celebrate that. We say Happy Valentine to each other, but first kiss of the day was from my darling dog.
