Can anyone recommend a good feel
Good comedy.

I generally like Adam sandler films but I've seen all of those.

Feeling a bit down, been a bit of a shitty day and I need a good laugh. Maybe a little cry when it all works out in the film.

Nothing too sad like ps I love you.

Thanks Smile

I watched Ghost Town last night, Netflix.
I love Ricky Gervais.

PenelopeTitsDrop3121 · 13/02/2023 18:34

Motherland

If you're willing to watch a series instead, try Superstore on Netflix. Episodes are only 20-30 minutes each and it's one of those shit comedies that makes you laugh at silliness.

I really enjoyed Jumanji, against the odds!

Mumof2amazingasdkiddos · 13/02/2023 18:41

I typed stand up comedy in the search bar on amazon prime to help cheer myself up the other day and it really helped (until I woke the 3 year old up from laughing too loud 🤦🏼‍♀️) depends who/what you find funny but that was my starting point if that helps

Abbott Elementary on Disney or Luca also on Disney or the Italian job the original. Or community I think on netflix.
I always enjoy Death in Paradise iplayer when I've had a bad day. I like the sheer insanity of it. I looked up real crime figures once and that island would be the most dangerous place on earth to live, if it was real. One day I want to do a PhD on tv crime shows.

The Bank of Dave on Netflix, it's based on a true story too.

watchfulwishes · 13/02/2023 19:01

I watched Bank of Dave last week, it was rubbish in a good way, nice and safe.

MiaMoor · 13/02/2023 19:02

Schitt’s Creek on Netflix is my go to when I’m feeling rubbish.

I agree

I love this programme

Very funny, astute and clever but also feel good and easy to watch

soboredtonight · 13/02/2023 19:04

I've watched both of those. And motherland and Jumanji.

The switch is good so far.

Modern Family is ace, my go to comfort comedy as there are so many episodes it's hard to run out

Detectorists is a nice gentle comedy series, lots of beautiful scenes of the English countryside and sweet, quirky characters.
it’s on bbc2 now I think

Dancingtumbleweed · 13/02/2023 19:07

Count Arthur Strong
