A steady 5, and another limerick. Have I just missed them until now?

I've just scrolled back (blue arrows at top of the game) and the first limerick was on 15th March - Small Gnome Dwarf game. The game before (Scott) had a written explanation. I'd missed these completely but oddly like you noticed the gummy one yesterday.
I wonder if someone has created a program that writes limericks from random words like the pictures are generated from the puzzle words?

Yes, I agree. There was no connection at all.

I don't think the limericks are known, I thought it was that someone/bot made up a limerick based on the words in the solution 🤔
