Shall I ask my postie out for a coffee?

It's obvious he fancies me & he's half suggested it already. I guess he knows I'm single because he sees my mail & no partner around. I don't know for 100% if he's single though... wwyd?

I got a shock as I stepped out the front door not expecting him and he was just about to knock to hand over a parcel. I said he was lucky to catch me as I was just popping out for a coffee and he said 'Perhaps I should come with you some time'... with a big grin. We laughed. He is very handsome...😁

I think someone asked this years ago on here and the general consensus was that it would just be too embarrassing if they were just being friendly and then knocked you back and you still had to see them often.

I would maybe steer a conversation with the opening for him to invite you out, if he doesn't know your answer.
Or is he not allowed to ask you out whilst at work? Imagine he did have the wrong end of the stick and a woman complained of being propositioned on her own doorstep.

He followed me into said coffee shop once but ducked out again.. I pretended I hadn't noticed and buried my face in my phone..🙄😆

I kinda think what’s the worst that could happen? I mean worst case scenario, he’s got a girlfriend, says no and you have to move house 🤷🏼‍♀️ No big deal!
