Is her child a boy? Because the deer was. Sure, bambino or bambina is child in Italian but if it's for a girl, it has bimbo vibes for some reason.

Misty, Starla and Bambi all sound like people you'd find at the Playboy mansion.

It doesn’t mean child in Italian unless it’s short for Bambina - which would be the equivalent of an Italian parent calling her daughter Little Girl Hmm.
