Molly mae hague has called her baby this and I actually like it .Anyone else?
It means child in Italian.

They probably felt under pressure not to have the same name as any other "celebrity" baby.They were never going to have a Leah or a Grace.

Also compared their inlaws who's kids are called Prince,Valencia,Venuzela etc its not too bad

A bit out there, but I immediately thought of the murder victim Sheila Caffell who was killed by her brother Jeremy Bamber, because Bambi was her nickname.
Note: it's a nickname!!!!

I was just about to say the same.
Doesn’t go with Fury either.

Having said that I thought the name hadn’t actually been revealed yet.

I did laugh when I heard, and thought how silly! But..I’m in my 40s and remember the bambi movie well. Younger people probably don’t have the same points of reference as me, so maybe it’s ok..

Apparently it's the name she's had chosen since she was a child (so about 10 years ago)

On the other side Molly's sister and future brother-in-law are really down to earth and in the army. I can't imagine any Bambi's/Jellies TAAT, Whippies on that side.

I have no idea who their in laws are but these names are also ridiculous BUT I don't think anywhere near as bad as Bambi.

If it’s a name that’s used in the travelling community that makes sense.

it’s not for me but it’s quite sweet and they could always call themselves Bea as an adult if they really didn’t like it. At least they’re unlikely to be asked to spell it all the time. And there’s no nasty connotations.

I know an Italian Greyhound called Bambi.

The name suits her as she is fawn like.

What happens if Bambi the child grows up and isn’t delicate looking as the name evokes? That’s going to be a major cringe.

Bambi Fury sounds like the Disney deer exacting revenge for what happened to his mum. I'm picturing a Rambo-esque look - bare chested, cargo pants with a bandana and a rocket launcher.

@Fandabadobie she was nicknamed that (when she and her mother were alive) because her surname was Bamber.
