What's for lunch?

I've just had scrambled eggs on toast with lots of butter and a generous squirt of ketchup. It must be years and years since I ate that and it was glorious!

I enjoyed my lunch so much that I'm wondering what you lot are having today so I can enjoy lunch again through you!

Toast with avocado and sunflower seeds
a chunk of red leicester
Greek yoghurt with clementine curd and mixed ground seeds. I usually have this with just the seeds but got the yoghurt from a different shop to usual and the taste reminded me of baby sick (the smell of, obviously)so needed to disguise it. Herbal tea x2 cups

Oh I forgot I also ate 4 (maybe 5) multigrain crackers whilst waiting for my toast to pop up.

And 2 lebkuchen after lunch

Turn your back for a while and, suddenly, there's a whole smorgasbord (if you'll pardon the pun) of really tasty things going on!

You all have the most amazing ideas. I'm off to add more things to my shopping list.

I'm also feeling even more food obsessed now so am heading off to make some roasted parsnip soup for tomorrow's lunch and have a ponder about what to eat this evening.

@Theoldwoman I usually have a little stock but ran it down. We are getting a new kitchen. Thought we could save space, faff having less stock. That backfired Grin will have a rummage later if I can't find anything will pop to shop.

Thanks for being lovely 🥰

Itsu chicken broth with udon noodles, prawns, pak choi, cavelo nero and broccolini. Few slices of chorizo as an appetiser.

Cheddar cheese and beetroot sandwich followed by mango and Greek yoghurt

Sliced beef topside sandwich with little gem lettuce and horseradish sauce. Cherry tomatoes and sugar snap peas. It was lovely.
A rice cake with a bit of strawberry jam, a Lindt salted caramel chocolate and a cup of tea to follow.

Noodles, eggs and bacon. Sounds like you're running a restaurant there. What time shall I come round and do you have a menu?!

It was 1:20pm today and there was also a cheese salad with crispy onions and croutons (for me!)

As for menu - I’ll do most things if it means my fussy twins (ages 3 1/2) will eat!! Tonight it’s nuggets, carrot and potato mini waffles - one will have cucumber and cherry tomatoes; the other might deign to eat some baked beans!! DH and I have chicken & ham pie with potato wedges and cauliflower and broccoli. Should be ready about 7pm!!

Sounds delicious, I could devour a beef and horseradish sandwich right now 😛
