Just finished HV and am now not wanting to let go of Sarah Lancashire! 👀

I thought it was excellent. I would also recommend “Julia”.

RandomersAssociation · 29/01/2023 18:49

How have you finished the as yet un-broadcast final two episodes of HV Season 3? …

FlamingoCroquet · 29/01/2023 18:49

yes definitely! gentle, funny and moving

Fairysilver · 29/01/2023 18:50

It's fabulous. Nothing like HV but well written, funny and has three great female characters.

SophieJo · 29/01/2023 18:55

Start with the first series, I think you’ll be hooked!

Oh I was a late comer to it. I adore it. Stellar cast all of them are brilliant

Tayegete · 29/01/2023 18:59

I’ve just re-watched it all and it is really good. The relationship between her and Nicola Walkers character is fantastic.

catskittens · 29/01/2023 19:02

yep didnt watch it till lockdown its well worth a watch

and SL is so good in it

flabbygoldfish · 29/01/2023 19:02

Yes it is. Nicola Walker is very good as well, their two characters bounce off each other really well.

mum2jakie · 29/01/2023 19:04

It's very different to HV but also an excellent cast and strong female characters. Recommended

MissBattleaxe · 29/01/2023 19:04

We've just found it on Britbox and we love. it's written by Sally Wainwright who also wrote HV. She does character driven drama so well.

purpleme12 · 29/01/2023 19:18

It was really good. I remember I couldn't stop watching it.
Last series not so good but still good

Phos · 29/01/2023 19:22

I love it but as with HV it takes me ages to watch an episode as I'm constantly pausing it to say "Where's that?... Ooh I recognise that road!... Oh look its such and such a place"

HerculesMulligan · 29/01/2023 19:22

Not Sarah Lancashire, but I bet you'd like Scott and Bailey - also written by Sally Wainwright.

EspeciallyDetermined · 29/01/2023 19:24

I watched it from the start and love it, never seen HV though.

Clymene · 29/01/2023 19:29

DesertRose64 · 29/01/2023 19:29

The first series was but it went downhill after that.

HaveANiceFuckingDay · 29/01/2023 19:36
