Just cos I love these threads! So cosy and relaxing, thinking about all the people going about their different routines.

We are in Saturday morning swimming with all 3 kids - then it's DD1 family birthday party (she saw friends last week). We'll take grandparents to a child-friendly restaurant for lunch then back to ours for birthday cake and presents. Then try to tackle some of the horrendous mess that is our house!

Ah I like these threads too. DH has taken DS to football. I’m currently in my pjs ironing while DD plays with her LOLs. In-laws are coming over later and will babysit while we go out for dinner, can’t wait!

We're going to drink coffee and read books all day long. I love it. I also LOVE your username, OP. That story made me laugh so much at the time 😁

I have the house to myself ALL WEEKEND.
This, is a rare luxury.
So, waiting for new sofas to be delivered this morning, then cleaning, clearing and doing some study.
im making chilli chicken for tea then having a bath listening to a blood & guts podcast to relax.
looking for a film to watch, clean bedding, lots of washing, and pottering.

Then meeting friends for a meal tomorrow.
Bliss.

I've just picked up my daughter from a sleepover, we are just chilling watching Wednesday and later we are meeting friends and their similar age kids for a trampoline park and dinner. Tonight probably one of her friends will wleep over and I will watch Emily in Paris. I want to try to fit the gym in but seems unlikely!

Rspb big garden birdwatch this weekend so weve got some bird related crafts to do this morning and then we will do the actual count tomorrow.

I'm about to pop a chicken curry in the slow cooker for dinner this evening, we are off swimming this afternoon so will be nice to have dinner pretty much done when we get home.

Then the usual wine and TV with DH once DC asleep

Continuing the work to change the spare room from dumping ground to nursery.
This seems to involve every room in the flat being rearranged and all the clutter everywhere being sorted through.
So today it's charity shop donation day, tip run and packing stuff for long term storage. then the room should be nearly empty.

We’re marking world holocaust day (yes, i know it was yesterday) by making some tradtional Jewish snacks, our group were helping at a community event yesterday for it.

A very close friend died last weekend, so we have a little memorial for him at our rugby club today.

Later this afternoon we’re going to a farm park (the weather is actually quite nice today), a lazy evening of absolutely nothing planned.

I'm going to my parents. To do nothing! I broke my ankle just over a week ago and have a boot on. Thankfully I can weightbear but not meant to be doing too much

Had a lie in and a lazy shag. Now dh and I are at the gym (me running and weights, him spin class and something horrendous called abs blast). Next, supermarket, home for coffee, bacon sandwiches and general pottering. Out for dinner to a new Polish place down the road from us later.

Baking with DS, once the cakes are out and cooling we've got to go to the cobbler to pick up his shoes and will probably have lunch in a nice café near there and a walk by the sea. Then home for cup of tea/milk and a cake!

Dropped DS (13) at school at 8am for a school football fixture, he’s due back at 12.30pm. DH has just taken DD (11) to her swimming lesson. Everyone should be back for bacon sandwiches about 1pm.

Then dropping DD for a birthday party/sleepover at 3.30pm, so it will be just the 3 of us for dinner tonight. I’m hoping to get DS to watch the Leonardo di Caprio Romeo & Juliet film tonight, as they are reading the Shakespeare play at school at the moment and he thinks it’s ‘boring’. I thought it might bring it to life for him a bit - but I expect he’ll want to be on the PlayStation instead….

Been to swimming lesson and off to tap shortly but i get to chill in the car for half hour alone so quite enjoyable.
Going to town later as eldest has ruined her school shoes already and youngest seems to have grown 10 inches and her leggings are way above her ankles.

Charging my car, taking dd for a haircut then bowling. Looking after my dgd tonight and DH away till Monday.

Had a long lie in this morning, just had lovely warm croissants with DCs and now sorting the laundry. Need to sort out DD2s clothes as she's growing fast and doesn't wear half of what's there. Going to take the dog for a nice walk somewhere later as a family and then after dinner DH is going back to work for the week. The DCs will probably be on ipads/Netflix tonight and i'm going to have a nice long bath.

I am packing today. Very exciting holiday in a couple of weeks, plus I am baby / house / pet sitting for my friend for a week while she goes away with her husband for their anniversary so I need to pack for that and the holiday.

i may go the gym later. And I will go the pub for a swift half before a nice dinner at home.

tomorrow I have done work to do and practice on my hobby (I’m so thrilled to have a mysterious MN hobby in my life at last!).

We are going skiing. (Well the kids are, I'll mainly be watching and eating...)

I'm at the hairdresser for a long overdue cut and colour, my roots are insane! Already walked the dog, and made cakes and it's DS's birthday tomorrow. The kids are with their dad till tomorrow morning so after the hairdresser, I'm going to pick up my click and collect, and the dogs flea medicine. Then home to ice the cakes and sit on my arse 😁

Carpet shopping then lunch with mum and sister then home to DH for a thai takeaeway and a bottle of champagne we've had since Christmas.

We've had left over haggis with garlic mushrooms for brunch.

DH and his friend are going to fell a big diseased tree in a farmer's wood this afternoon, and saw it up for next year.
I'm waiting for a delivery and then going into town to pick up my pills, choose some paint for the hall and order a stair carpet and rods.
I might go to the little tea shop later.

We're invited to a Burns Night supper tonight but I don't think we'll go, as DH will be knackered and I rarely enjoy big parties nowadays, embracing my introverthood. I'm in the middle of the Three Body Problem trilogy and it is so good, I can hardly bear to be in this world at the moment, so I will be immersed in it this evening.

DH has done an overnight lamb casserole in the slow cooker, so nothing to do re food tonight, although I must remember the shedload of mashed swede and carrot in the fridge.

I’ve been to town, picked up library books and dropped off some charity donations. Went to the local community cafe for a coffee and cake, picked up some milk and some chocolate to decorate a cake I’m making tomorrow for teens b day. Done two loads of washing, pottered in the garden and now I can’t wait for bed.

DH kept me awake half the night snoring I’m tired and grumpy. Thank goodness he’s disappearing off to friends later & teen is off to friends for a Chinese takeaway. I’ll be getting in the bath early for a read of my book and a soak and then getting into bed with my book.

DD had dancing first thing this morning, so
i took her there and sat in a cafe with a bagel and a chai latte and read my book. Took DD to the library and did some crafts, then popped into the shops to get some nice bread and baking ingredients.

We’re home now so DD is playing Spyro on the PlayStation with DH while I zone out on mumsnet. DH has made some chicken and sweet corn soup which we’ll have for lunch with our nice bread, then DD wants to bake “a really big pink cake” this afternoon.

DH is working tonight so will have pasta for tea with DD and then lie on the sofa watching Call The Midwife. Lovely!

Up early this morning so took DD to the park for a play while DH walked the dog. Then went to a new cafe for a brunch. Back for DD's nap (which I also took part in as am pregnant!) and now watching Peppa Pig before we do an afternoon of jobs and bits and bobs!

Working until 7.10pm 🥲

Riding lesson this morning then I’m supposed to be test driving a car this afternoon but not sure whether to go or not .
