i have been trying to watch some more comedy but most of it is woefully unfunny. It is probably not aimed at me but can't remember the last time i found comedy funny.
Any suggestions welcome

The IT Crowd?

FlamingoSocks · 26/01/2023 22:54

Ted Lasso

StarDolphins · 26/01/2023 22:55

F I want something funny, I always put The Office, Extras, Benidorm or one of the old ones like Only Fools or Keeping up appearances!

Depends what you find funny though!

Carrieonmywaywardsun · 26/01/2023 22:55

The last man one earth, a series on disney+

Hobbesmanc · 26/01/2023 22:55

Nighty Night. Still the blackest funniest thing I've ever seen.

Deffo Ted Lasso or Schitts Creek for something a little lighter

Bbq1 · 26/01/2023 23:00

The Big Bang Theory, The Office (US only) and Parks and Rec.

Mum97540 · 27/01/2023 00:40

Not to watch but to listen to. In BBC Sounds, scroll down and select Comedy, Alexi Sayle and his imaginary sandwich shop. It's very good.

IneedcoffeeinanIV · 27/01/2023 00:41

The US office, New Girl and Cougar Town are brilliant

TheGriffle · 27/01/2023 00:43

Not hilarious but I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Ghosts and Ghosts US on bbc iPlayer.

ZenNudist · 27/01/2023 00:45

Bad sisters on apple. More like enjoyable drapery. Maybe not gunny enough

Still it's a good watch

You need to give examples of your sense of humour, shows you have enjoyed in the past. I mean, there are a lot of people who inexplicably live Mrs Brown’s Boys.

PMSL at someone suggesting Keeping Up Appearances! You may as well watch Duty Free or To the Manor Born!

Hard to recommend without knowing your sort of sense of humour, but...

Phoneshop is un underrated gem

The Detectorists - I can't remember laughing out loud as much for ages. It's also really endearing and love the main characters.

ouch44 · 27/01/2023 07:51

Also Taskmaster. Our whole family including the grumpy teens love it
