I need help please. Violated by physiotherapist

I have had a terrible experience with the Physiotherapist recommended to me by AXA health. I can't stop going back again and again in my head wondering when it started and I thought it must be part of the therapy. Did he see my silence as me encouraging him and wanting it? 😭😭 I feel so violated. I am not sure if it is allowed for me to post their details. I want them exposed. I had sessions left which I have cancelled but then they asked to speak with me and I sent a message giving details of what had occurred. I got their email this morning and they said that they're going to "investigate". I know he knows what he did, but where's my proof?

He has touched my bare bottom and then asked me to lie face down which wasn't the first time. The next thing I knew, he got on the massage table and knelt over me and while massaging was pushing his bulge on my butt

Unfortunately unless you feel able to say what they did, you'll not get much help.

Was it a general assault that you could report to the police? Or something therapy related?

There was a case here where a young woman realised a physiotherapist was videoing her changing with his phone - turned out there were hundreds of victims . He secreted his phone to record his clients getting dressed and undressed- this was in an nhs doctors surgery.

Chances are if he's done this to you there will be others .

This sounds exactly like what happened with USA gymnastics & that creepy doctor Larry Nassar...
You poor thing, please report immediately. You are very brave & please stop this physio in his tracks before more women are abused.

Hello. I don't think I want to take a phone call the company until I have spoken with Axa as they recommended you to me. I am typing this here, so I can use it as reference. I apologise for how explicit it is going to be.

I feel violated by the therapist and I am going to report it. I am left very confused and very vulnerable. How did I miss it and completely trust a therapist? Where did I make him believe that he could violate me the way he did?

I had never worked with a physiotherapist before so whenever he touched me on the butt, I initially assumed that it was part of the therapy especially because I tried to gauge his tone and read his face. He always looked deadpan and his tone was the same and he always sounded professional.

I always wore jogging bottoms until one day, from work, I wore trousers that were tight and he asked me if I had shorts on because he needed to shock my thighs because my tibia muscles were tight and affecting my knees. I didn't and I thought I would bring shorts to change into next session which I did. They were loose shorts. He reached inside them during the therapy in the Gym and touched my butt. I am there trying not to read anything into it because I am thinking not to embarrass him while also taking in the fact that the Gym was an open place. Surely, he wouldn't be inappropriate here??!

But then I thought that I made a mistake using loose shorts. So I ordered new gym shorts which had grip. I wore them to my session recently. He asked me to lie face down on the bed to the left of the Gym. And the next thing I felt was him on top of me. I am wondering if this is really necessary but the fact that it wasn't in the treatment room threw me a little bit. I could feel his penis bulge on my butt and he intermittently would raise himself and push down on me. I will never forget this horrible and humiliating experience from a therapist, a person in the position of power. I was terrified. I pretended it was nothing. He then reached through my tight gym shorts to touch my inner left thigh. That's when I knew 10000% that he is a terrible terrible terrible human being and I keep going back wondering how many times I had thought it must be part of the therapy while he was taking it as encouragement. It shouldn't even be happening at all for heaven's sake! He looks and sounds so professional while being a horrible pervert.

I’ve reported the post naming the person, this is potentially libellous and could impact an investigation.

That's my message to them but took a few things off.

I am so terrified. I have been going into work, acting normal while pushing tears down. I am shaking as I type this because I am terrified. I feel so ashamed. There were two of them in the building. The other one is the one who seems to deal with the admin stuff. I am going crazy here wondering if he was watching and is in on it. How could the therapist be so bold to do this in the open Gym with no fear of the admin guy stepping out of his office? 😭😭😭
