Good morning all.
I was up at 6.30 with dd7 so have managed to take washing out of the washer and hang up to dry, put another wash on and have cleaned the kitchen.
DH still in bed but when he gets up the plan of the day is to do the food shop we didn't do yesterday, the house needs a quick going over, probably make a Sunday dinner, bath dd and watch dancing on ice later.
What's everyone else up to today?

Pilates class and general tidying up. Lots of laundry while it's dry and sunny outside.

BingleBongleBoo · 22/01/2023 08:09

Might drag the family to the coast to fly the kite and have a bacon butty.

Then come home to finish homework, and make roast beef for dinner.

autienotnaughty · 22/01/2023 08:10

Mini golf and soft play ds has been cooped up last few days and needs stimulation!!

BrewandBiscuit · 22/01/2023 08:11

Bowling this morning, swimming lesson and then my son is off to his dads. I'll enjoy an afternoon and evening of peace!

DuncanBiscuits · 22/01/2023 08:12

Optician appointment, do some exercise, clean the house a bit, walk the dogs, then into town for a haircut.

Home, dinner, Come Dancing on BBC 4 and then it’s Happy Valley time!

DestinysGrandchild · 22/01/2023 08:13

Taking the kids bowling, going to their grandmas for a roast, and then coming home for a movie night.

Theoldwoman · 22/01/2023 08:14

It’s fifty million degrees again, lying on the couch mostly with iced water watching The Fosters on Disney Plus.

Oh and I did clean out and rearrange the pantry.

Shivermytimber · 22/01/2023 08:16

Dog walking done, just about to run a half marathon, go to work for 6 hours, then more dog walking then Happy Valley time.

CrackersCheeseAndWinePlease · 22/01/2023 08:17

I've heard a few people lately mention happy valley I might give it a watch

ive pork fillet for dinner and will make Yorkshire pudding and homemade stuffing as kids will wolf that down. maybe with roast veg for me as healthy eating

It's minus fifty million here at least it feels like it 😂

Yes Call the Midwife and Happy Valley (lots of candles and a g&t) oh yes !!

hopeishere · 22/01/2023 08:19

Possibly for for a walk - weather dependent.

Clear out DS2's clothes

Attempt to get to laundry zero.

Roast for dinner.

Spottypaperdoll · 22/01/2023 08:20

Birthday party with the eldest, sports activity with the youngest.
probably doing Katsu curry and gyozas for tea, yesterdays left overs for lunch.
I think DD also has a Roman project to finish.
Usual Sunday!

Ragwort · 22/01/2023 08:24

Off to Church, then seeing elderly DM & possibly lunch out at a garden centre, then going into work to sort out an issue ... crazy to do it on a Sunday but it will take far too long if I leave it until Monday and involve so many other people ... this way I can sort it out on my own and have planned a half day on Monday instead Grin. Then back home and cooking a curry for dinner .... DH doesn't like Happy Valley Shock so watching Vera instead & catch up on HV tomorrow. Yes, I could watch on my own but we try and find something we can watch together at least once a week!

EsmeeMerlin · 22/01/2023 08:26

Not an awful lot. All our plans have been cancelled when ds2 was sick in his bed at 9:30 last night and has been sick twice since so my day will be spent taking care of him and praying no one else gets his stomach bug.

knobheadinlaws · 22/01/2023 08:26

Food shop. Swimming. Sew badges onto scout jumper. Cut DC nails. Ironing. Change bedsheets. Water houseplants. Prep lunches for tomorrow. Get stuff ready for work. Help DC with homework.

I rather enjoy days like these 😊

mamaduckbone · 22/01/2023 08:31

I'm still in bed with coffee - ds13's rugby has been cancelled which he's grumpy about but it means a slower start to the day for us.

We'll drop ds17 at work at 10 then plan to go for a big walk with coffee and cake at the end of it. Ds13 may or may not join us. The promise of cake might win him over.

Pulled pork carnitas, stove lit, pottery throw down and Happy Valley tonight.

bridgetjonesmassivepants · 22/01/2023 08:31

Trying to get to London but the train Hadd no power and firm time for departure so I'm now going to Leeds to catch a different train. If it all works I'll be an hour and a half late...

Devonchills · 22/01/2023 08:45

Going for a walk on the beach, will be wrapping up warm as it's bloody freezing here. Then having a huge breakfast in local cafe.
Back home to do some washing, kids will probably be doing homework, then settling down with a bottle of wine and watching something on the TV

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 22/01/2023 08:48

Off for a run in a minute. It’s cold and bright - my favourite weather.

Might go to town later as I need to get a birthday present. Otherwise, probably a walk and a coffee.

Making a veggie lasagne for tea.

confusedofengland · 22/01/2023 08:51

I was awake at 6.30 even though we didn't need to get up till 8.30 🙄 So watched some Corrie then took tea & my book club book up to bed.

DH & DS1 off to football shortly. I often take DS2 & 3 & find a park nearby, but it's too cold today! So staying home & doing homework & craft with them.

Then hopefully a walk with a flask of hot chocolate later. Then home for a bit of screen/reading time & maybe some tidying.

Toad in the hole & mash for dinner. Then watching Silent Witness once DC are in bed.

I have Mondays & Tuesdays off so will blitz housework then.

LadyWithLapdog · 22/01/2023 08:53

Dying my hair at home. General tidying up and finishing my book club book. Maybe Happy Valley, though DP needs to catch up with it and that will take a few weeks as he doesn’t have the stomach for it.

StrictlyAFemaleFemale · 22/01/2023 08:55

Cooking roast beef for dinner. Until that a bit more tidying, washing and preparing for the week ahead. Had a fun day out yesterday so today is down time. Oh and cleaning out the car.

CrackersCheeseAndWinePlease · 22/01/2023 08:56

I was planning on taking dd to the park but its absolutely freezing here so I've decided against it. I love lazy Sundays at home
