What are you doing today?

Good morning all.
I was up at 6.30 with dd7 so have managed to take washing out of the washer and hang up to dry, put another wash on and have cleaned the kitchen.
DH still in bed but when he gets up the plan of the day is to do the food shop we didn't do yesterday, the house needs a quick going over, probably make a Sunday dinner, bath dd and watch dancing on ice later.
What's everyone else up to today?

Morning,

Plan is to hoover and clean bedrooms (did downstairs yesterday lol)
Cook Sunday dinner, exercise, dye my hair, help ds2 with homework, then a TV marathon lol 😆 May get some of my assignment done as well if I have any energy left

Mostly feeling sorry for myself. Have just come out of hospital after having a total hysterectomy. Will be seeing boyfriend and best friend later for some company and carers will be bringing my son home today too after having him for a week while ive been in hospital. Im hating not being able to do anything its really frustrating 😔

On my second coffee and the bacon and eggs for breakfast.
Taking the camera down to the local canal to try and get some shots of the kingfisher.
Then chicken roast dinner and sticky toffee pudding.

We've just got up- will have breakfast, get the washing on/out, only our bed to go now then I've sort of caught up. then take the dog out round the castle for an hour or so, back for lunch & taking my son & his friend to the farm park for the afternoon, they can do their thing while I drink hot chocolate & eye up the cake selection. Hopefully my partner will have created some sort of hello fresh for dinner then baths/showers before school & work again tomorrow

Morning. I've an entirely free day which is very exciting.

Think I'll jump out of bed in a mo and go for a lovely relaxed walked around the local parks and shops, with constant hot drinks.

Then need to sort my house out a bit and do some unpacking, batch cook two lovely meals, read my book and watch happy valley!

Still -4 here, rugby cancelled so I think a day of pottering round the house. Ds13 has 1 homework, then lego and gaming. Dd15 revision. It's too cold to go out so I'll potter, read, iron, etc!

I spent hours prepping food for today as it’s Chinese New Year, I am Chinese so it’s a big thing in this house. I will be making 2 soups, various dumplings are already done. 2 rice dishes, 2 noodle dishes, 2 vegetable dishes, 3 meat dishes, duck with pancakes, spring rolls and a fish dish. DH cleaned the house yesterday, no cleaning today as it sweeps good luck out the door.

I will collapse later, it is a million times more work than Christmas Day. DS and his GF will be here for the dinner. I will be making a huge amount of food as I will be taking some round to a few friends tomorrow and will make very nice looking bento boxes of food for them. I’m not as good as my Dad was, who I am missing today as he died a few years ago but will be making little carved vegetable items to make things look nice. He owned a restaurant, the very first Chinese restaurant in a small town.

DH is white and fully embraces it all, he does so love the food. DS has said to not frighten his GF with anything too radical so no chickens feet or fish head stew.

Morning! My babysitter is ill today so I can't go to work, so DD and I have been to feed the birds in our allotment, fed the ducks on the pond in the park and walked the dog. It's bloody Arctic.
Later I'm going to try a Louise Parker soup recipe (saw her mentioned on here and her recipes look good) and do some knitting. DD got 10 Octanauts jigsaws yesterday so that's her for the day.

My eyes have just opened, but to be honest it doesn't feel like they're going to stay that way.

When I do get up there is housework to be done and now that everything is thawing, I should go for a walk.

I’ve just come back to bed as I was up at 6 with the kids and now hubby is awake we’ve swapped. I’m just going to drink coffee and read my book and crochet for a couple of hours.
this afternoon we are taking the kids swimming then will make a roast and I think Banana cake as I’ve a few bananas looking very mushy in the fruit bowl. Pretty usual Sunday. Oh yes and then the school uniform ironing - my least favourite Sunday activity.

Watching 90 day fiancé while husband lies in - my Sunday morning pleasure ! Once he is up we are going to have a big breakfast then watch our team play on TV. After that we must get the greenhouse fixed after some panels blew out in wind last week

Should be going to bed, finished a night shift 2 hours ago.

Made pancakes from breakfast with DC this morning and have put a load of washing on.

We had a really busy day yesterday, so today it's yoga and at home spa day, board games, roast dinner and maybe a film later. I have a book due to arrive today, so I'll start that this evening once DC is asleep with a glass of something nice.

I've done the food shop and got the school uniforms washed. I've given the bathroom a wipe round just need to do the living room and hoover dd7 bedroom because there's glitter all over the carpet 🙄
