Heinz tomato soup

First World problems and all that. But has Heinz soup changed recipe? I know it's a ridiculous price now, but it is my comfort food with a cheese toastie when I'm low.
I'm sat here with a mug of it and I can't finish it, it's so sweet😥

I like the M&S one... much cheaper!

The low sugar heinz tom soup is nicer 🍅

We buy the M&S Tomato Soup, 75p a can, and so much better than Heinz, which we find gloupy and far too sweet, let alone a ridiculous price!

Just taken the remainder of my Heinz stash to the foodbank. I buy M&S own brand, tis like Heinz used to belike.

Just realised someone else has already mentioned the M&S soup... the M&S baked beans and salad cream are great too - and way cheaper than Heinz.

Yes to all these. The only thing they do that i dislike is the ketchup. I think Stokes is far superior stuff.

Whatever it tastes like, £1.70 a tin is a piss take.

Funny that this thread has been resurrected just as I was missing tomato soup today and contemplating making my own!
Thank you for all the suggestions, I've tried most over the last year and none has really hit the spot. I have also had home-made from an obliging friend and whilst it was lovely it wasn't Heinz.

I hope the lady above who needed it for her autistic son has got away with the different taste.

It's 5 for £5 in Tesco if anyone is still eating it.

Heinz mulligatawny soup seems to have vanished, which was my husband's favourite.
