Coat stand

frenchfancy81 · 14/01/2023 23:33

Storage bench, sideboard, candles, flowers, shoes galore :)

Cats23 · 14/01/2023 23:33

Stairs and the area in the door that needs to be re-vinyld ( It's been needed for about a year!) normally a few letters and random bits of lego/Hair bows/jigsaws neatly stacked in the hope someone else puts them away

sunshineandshowers40 · 14/01/2023 23:33

Shoes!

banannabreadforme · 14/01/2023 23:35

Door to the downstairs loo

XenoBitch · 14/01/2023 23:36

My dog.

Athena51 · 14/01/2023 23:36

The cats come to welcome me home.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 14/01/2023 23:37

When it's the two of us, a cat standing on the back of the sofa shrieking at DP because she's not been fed for at least ten whole minutes and he abandoned her, usually.

When it's me, not a lot because the light switch was rather intelligently put down the other end of the hallway by the builders.

Popetthetreehugger · 14/01/2023 23:38

A giant hedgehog door stop , a vase of twigs and a trunk shoe store

Tamarindtree · 14/01/2023 23:39

Dogs. Anything from three to seven. All overjoyed to see me.

DrLecter · 14/01/2023 23:40

A tallboy with unpaid bills/ random bits of post on top, an umbrella stand, a spiral staircase, a parquet floor.

Forever42 · 14/01/2023 23:40

Another front door. Previous owners built a porch outside but left the original front door in situ. There are also A LOT of shoes and coats. First thing inside the door to the house is a clothes airer, which is invariably full of washing.

Caramelsmadfuzzytail · 14/01/2023 23:41

Stairs.
Used to be my dog half way up and my cat near the top.

Me too 💐

Me three. How I miss him.

NeverMindTryAgain · 14/01/2023 23:42

One ridiculous hound.

Workinghardeveryday · 14/01/2023 23:44

Frenulumetta · 14/01/2023 23:26

A bloody mess of shoes strewn everywhere

Yep me too. Why oh why can’t anyone remove their shoes and put them 1 foot away in the shoe stand?

Oh of course, silly me, that is my job.

Don’t get me started on coats 🙄

HowCanIPayItForward · 14/01/2023 23:30

About 87 coats and 300 pairs of shoes. We try and tidy the hall but it's back to square 1 after a day. I hate it.

Do we live in the same house? Perhaps that explains the clutter!

Surely2023IsTheYearForMyRainbowBaby · 14/01/2023 23:47

DCat although I hear him before I see him cos he miaows like mad till I'm inside. After that it's the door to my bathroom to my left and the door to my bedroom straight in front of me.

Offleyhoo · 14/01/2023 23:47

My dog too. Beyond him the stairs (terrible feng shui apparently)

Hangupsrus · 14/01/2023 23:49

Dirty hallway cos not one person in the house respects my wishes to wipe feet and put shoes away 🙄

Pillowjoy · 14/01/2023 23:52

A rather good abstract oil with the glass smashed by my ten year old’s football. A bentwood coat stand with about seventy coats. 300 shoes. For an extra-classy touch a freezer, because half the house is a building site.

Bjarnum · 12/02/2023 00:33

6foot wooden Indian

L1ttledrummergirl · 12/02/2023 00:39

Our dog.

AlmostSummer21 · 12/02/2023 00:42

Side of the fridge as I live in a small place and the door opens into the kitchen. I'm putting a new kitchen in & the plan was when I do, the fridge will go on a different wall. I'm learning to live with it there though & if I could it would free up the space for a base/ extended work top & top cupboard where I had planned to put the fridge.
