I saw him in the '80s, absolutely brilliant musician. Apparently he couldn't stand hihosilver lining which made me like him more as I felt the same way (it is nothing like any of his other music)

Found this quite shocking, just seems like such a random thing. He was a bloody genius. How he could make those sounds come out of a guitar I will never know. DH and I saw him many times, sad we won’t get to see him again. RIP.

Oh that's sad, he seemed so well recently doing gigs with Johnny Depp. Played such a beautiful solo on my all time favourite album - Talking Book by Stevie Wonder. Rest in power Jeff 🌻

Oh no!!! He is/was one of the patrons of the wildlife charity I used to volunteer for and has done so much to support them (including bringing Johnny Depp to visit - Johnny loved it so much that he too is a patron now). The incredible founder of the charity died unexpectedly a few years ago and now this loss of Jeff Beck too. How awful!! He was a lovely kind man.

A sad loss, saw him in Sheffield on his tour last year with Jonny Depp joining him on his first night after the court case.

Will be playing my favourite album today Jeff Beck Wired, in memory of a wonderfully talented guitarist.

You are a legend Jeff and inspired many guitarists.

Just watched this interview with him from about 10 years ago. Amazing to hear him agree towards the end that he'd never got over his nerves about performing. Just in the brief demos he does during the interview, his talent is off the scale. What a loss.
