A lovely long cardigan this week. Fluffy, warm and perfect for throwing on over things in the house. It was £3.60 and already a firm favourite.

A watercolour painting. I told myself not to be silly, walked round town regretting not buying it, and then went back for it.

I googled the artist’s name, found someone of that name had a website and emailed her to ask about it. Got a reply the next day to say how glad she was that I’d liked it. Awwww!

An sort of oval/rectangular blue and white pottery plate for roast chicken. It quite matches a larger one I already have for a turkey.

Perhaps there needs to be a parallel thread for donations! Last week I donated a brand new pair of M&S boots that I wore only once to go to the theatre (but still have marks 4 weeks later from the blisters because I deluded myself into thinking they were the right size and would be fine).

A gorgeous velvet bag, the perfect size for when you just need your keys, wallet, phone and reading glasses.

A pair of running leggings in a nice but not too bright pattern.

A 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle of a place we have holidayed in. It will be returned once we have done it.

A book for my DB's birthday.

Yesterday I visited my local charity shop and bought a wool Seasalt shawl ( still with label on ) for £1, a brand new face roller for 50p and an age 9-10 cashmere jumper for 50p which I am going to use the sleeves to make fingerless gloves with.
