We have quite a lot but not as much as usual.

1/4 homemade Christmas cake
Full tub of celebrations
1/2 tub roses (only the ones nobody likes left - all the hazel whirls and dairy milk are sadly gone)
All the chomps, fudges and curly wurlys from the selection boxes

Three quarters of a really shit Tesco finest chocolate log that tasted artificial and overly sweet and nobody wants. A box of mince pies which can go in the freezer. Cheese which I will eat gradually.
various chocolates. Dc had treat hampers as one of their presents so they’ve been scoffing the goodies in those rather than eating the other stuff that’s hanging around.

mumonthehill · 03/01/2023 08:36

Chocolate, half a Christmas cake, a cheesecake, mincepies now in freezer, a few large bags of crisps, wine!

Catterpillarwithconverse · 03/01/2023 08:39

1.5 packs of Mince pies
2 Frozen puddings

Full tub Roses
Full tub Quality Street
2/3 Tub Celebrations
One Yule Log, unopened
One pack dips, unopened
1 pot thick cream, unopened
Nearly an entire bag of frozen sprouts
10 Candy Canes
Box of chocolate tree decorations (forgot to put them on!)
Three cheeses

ImAvingOops · 03/01/2023 08:41

Stollen bites, candy canes and a shit load of Baileys! My diet is never gonna get going at this rate!

Natsku · 03/01/2023 08:41

One last cheese, which I'm working my way through, an unopened box of truffles and an open box of chocolates, all but two of the candy canes on the tree (me and DD used two as hot chocolate stirrers last night as I suddenly remembered they existed), and a third of a bottle of glögi concentrate and there's a drop of sherry left. I never even opened the bottle of port which I also didn't open last year so saved for this year.
The box of fancy biscuits is about half way gone but only OH and DS can eat those as they aren't GF so I don't count them as Christmas food - its only Christmas food if I can eat it!

WingingIt101 · 03/01/2023 08:42

Full tub of miniature hero's
Some cheese and biscuits
Shortbread tin (received as gift)
A chocolate orange

Cheese. So so much cheese.
Half a tub of Roses and several chocolate oranges, neither of which taste like they used to.

Everything else has been scoffed and I daren't stepson the scales.

maslinpan · 03/01/2023 09:08

3 Panettone and quite a lot of cheese.

Thursa · 03/01/2023 09:12

2 panettone
1 Stollen
1 box of mini mince pies
mini candy canes
1/2 a tub of quality street
shortbread Christmas trees
4 bottles of Prosecco
2 bottles of Baileys

whatever I put away to stop the family eating before Christmas that I haven’t found again yet…

bluechameleon · 03/01/2023 09:18

A lot of chocolate. Quality Street, various Hotel Chocolat things, some Green and Black's mini bars. Two unopened gingerbread house kits - might get the DC doing that today. A jar of mincemeat. Half a bottle of Baileys but DH drinks that year round.

ThreeRingCircus · 03/01/2023 09:24

A full bottle of Baileys. Wondering if I can keep this for next Christmas?

A bit of Christmas cake (homemade) and a box of mince pies.

Too much chocolate and crisps.

Loads of cheese. I'm going to make a couple of batches of macaroni cheese for the freezer today.

troppibambini6 · 03/01/2023 09:26

An embarrassing amount. I'm thinking I'm going to donate it. It's mainly treat food and I'm back in a healthy diet.

beekindx · 03/01/2023 09:30

We've got....
Box of carrs cracker selection
Tub of twiglets
2 packs of pigs in blankets in freezer
1/2 bag of sprouts
A few half jars of chutney from the cheeseboard on Boxing Day
A block of caramelised onion cheddar
1/2 packet of pate.

lucysmam · 03/01/2023 09:39

Cheese - I always get over-excited when we visit the cheese stall at Christmas & end up eating it through January. It's a good job the girls think he's only there for Christmas tbh 🤣

Christmas cake - not even sliced into yet. That'll become my after work snack, with a brew & I will make a smaller one next Christmas!

Mince pies but they're frozen so fine for a while.

Small box of Heroes & some other chocolates that were gifts.

Stollen, lebkuchen, panettone, and a pretty tin of shortbreads that were also given to us. They'll get eaten at some point too.

We'll have a sensible shopping list only until the treat things we already have are gone. The only exception is likely to be crisps for school pack-ups.

purpleflies · 03/01/2023 09:42

A full tub of Quality Street
Two bags of lebkuchen
Cheese

Peridot1 · 03/01/2023 09:51

Loads!

a stollen
box of mince pies
Christmas cake - didn’t even get around to icing it
some shortbread biscuits
a full box of biscuits
loads of chocolate - Celebrations, Heroes, Ferrero Rocher and some others
cheese
pate
mini pork pies
cream
some nuts and snacks to have with drinks

I think it will all go eventually. I like a biscuit or something after my lunch so they will all go. Am trying to cut down on wine so will have a cuppa and a couple of chocolates in the evening instead. Might ice the cake with an Easter theme and use it then. Pate on toast for lunch over next couple of days.

xogossipgirlxo · 03/01/2023 10:00

Polish pierogi. They're in the freezer now, as husband and I can't look at them anymore, plus DH is back to gluten-free diet.

whataboutsecondbreakfast · 03/01/2023 10:05

Loads - I got given tons of food from clients but there's only two of us and we'll never get through it all 😬

A small box of roses
Half a box of mince pies
Guylian seashells
Dark chocolate truffles
Half a tub of shortbread
A tin of gingerbread
One and a half boxes of Ferrero Rocher
A massive kilo bar of Dairy Milk

And probably more that I can't think of at the moment!

Saladd0dger · 03/01/2023 10:10

A tub of Heros and quality street with a box after eights. Which I put away and forgot about till I read your post lol. We have 1 pack of foxes chocolate biscuits, some crackers and breadsticks. A little bit if cheese. Good for us as we usually have so much left I cut down this year.

changer121 · 03/01/2023 10:16

A panettone- unopened
A literal tonne of chocolates and Turkish delight
Much cheese- now frozen
Christmas cake - frozen
More chutney /cheese crackers than we know what to do with - will keep
5 mince pies - dh gladly taken ownership of
Pot of double cream- will use in a pasta dish tonight
2 leeks - as above

We were given two cheese hampers and loads of boxes of chocolates this year and also a cheese biscuits/ chutney one so have masses but will use everything through the coming year .

AliasGrape · 03/01/2023 10:24

About 1/4 of the homemade Christmas cake
Tin of quality street
Box of biscuits
Orange matchmakers
Bendicks chocolate mints
Stuffed dates

Chilli jam - full, fig and honey chutney - half
Cheese - 2 of those little truckle things which will keep for ages so no rush to use up

Full box Carrs water biscuits and a couple of randoms still in the cracker selection tub

Most of a bottle of baileys
Few bits of party food in freezer

Some crunchy nuts and a jar of Nutella - only bought at Christmas but not opened this year

Plus the piles of chocolate DH, DD and I all got as gifts, and some that my relative left behind when she went back to her home abroad we couldn’t fit it all in her case.

Far more than normal! Some of the chocolates will be donated probably but everything else will be got through eventually.
