Like people chatting. But not people with annoying voices 🤣 preferably british people if possible. News, and interesting stuff but not celeb gossip. More like you are sitting around with a bunch of friends. About half an hour.

This is for my commute to.work so cant be heavy iyswim?

Sparklingbrook · 26/12/2022 20:36

Alan Carr’s a comedian but he interviews slebs about their holidays.

Barbbarkbark · 26/12/2022 20:37

Wolf and Owl it’s Tom Davis and Romesh but they’re just chatting, it’s not scripted. One of my favourite hours of the week… I save it so I can listen properly!!

Nightynightnight · 26/12/2022 20:38

Mysteries of the Unexplained - Will and Annie cover a mystery/spooky story but in an extremely irreverent way. It's like being in the pub with your two sweary Irish pals.

Youngatheart00 · 26/12/2022 20:38

Finding the funny - it’s with Ruth and Ang Corden (sisters of James) - never fails to make me LOL but also very comforting

I've just started listening to the two MrPs in a pod. It's two brothers who both work in education but there's a fair amount of general chit chat too. It's like sitting around with your family - retelling old stories and some gentle ribbing.

whoami24601 · 26/12/2022 22:00

Ooh also We Are History is good if you're interested in that kind of thing.

LegoLady95 · 26/12/2022 22:02

Evil Genius with Russel Kane is very funny.

WideOpenSpaces · 26/12/2022 22:02

Off Menu is great and really funny

IggysPop · 26/12/2022 22:03

It’s a Fair Cop - funny and thought provoking (28 minutes per episode)

whoami24601 · 26/12/2022 22:07

Thanks @IggysPop for that link! I caught an episode of that on the radio a while back but when I went to find it there were only a couple of episodes available. Gutted! I've got some catching up to do...

CoffeeChocolateGin · 26/12/2022 22:08

Adam Buxton is great.
Off Menu also great
Parenting Hell ditto

All are by comedians though. Adam Buxton one is thought provoking at times and he's not chasing a punchline so definitely give that a try.

Mendeleyev · 26/12/2022 22:19

I love Older and Wider. It’s Jenny Eclair and Judith Holder. They just natter about stuff that’s going on in their lives, the news, stuff they’ve watched/read.

The Self Care Club podcast can be quite funny, definitely lots of chat and banter between two British women.
