Movement in stomach not pregnant ( hopefully)

Ok this is been bothering me for a few weeks now but I will list all symptoms and leave it up to the Mumsnet crowd to help me out please! I feel like I'm going crazy with strange movements in my stomach that feel exactly like a baby moving. Not the fluttering from early days but proper big shifts in movement and stabby pain like a sharp kick. But I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant!

The movement/pain moves around the abdomen from far up right to low down on both sides (but not at the same time) sometimes I get a pain up high coupled with a pressure feeling in my vagina as if a baby was kicking down

I have had 2 incidences of unprotected this year. In May and September, but I was taking the pill and I took the MAP both times to make sure. I have also done many many tests since May and Sep and all negative. Even got one of those digital ones so I didn't misinterpret any test

I don't have any pregnancy symptoms and when I stop the pill for a break I bleed like I should

But this pain and movement is worrying me. If I bend over or sit down which naturally squashed my stomach then it feels solid like something is there that I'm squeezing

I haven't put on any weight and I don't think I look any different. If I was pregnant I'd either be 33 weeks or 15/16 weeks but have tested negative always

I hope someone medical is reading this and can help, I really do feel crazy and very scared. I don't want to be pregnant

Forgot to add that quite a lot of the time I can feel a strong pulse in my stomach

Also had an endoscopy in Aug, surely they'd know if I was pregnant?

I think it’s probably gas…

I have a feeling a lot of people will say this and I really hope it is, but it just feels too big of a movement and too specific to be just gas

I get this sometimes and it's weird. Sometimes it feels like a brick thudding down inside me. I am not pregnant unles I have been pregnant for a decade or so. Are you constipated? I think mine is big stools moving their way down 🤮

Butteredtoast55 · 14/12/2022 18:18

You need to get an appointment. It's easy enough to do a scan and check as you may well be pregnant.

CorporateBull · 14/12/2022 18:19

I think you need to see your GP and have an actual examination. If you ARE pregnant they will know. If there is something else wrong, hopefully (because GPs aren't always on to women's health issues) they will be able to send you for tests or diagnose.

Without wanting to be one of the annoying posters who sound chippy, this isn't something you'll get an answer to on here, and there's a possibility it could be something that needs attention.

gamerchick · 14/12/2022 18:19

It's usually just your insides moving around doing it's thing and can be felt strongly in some people, especially if you're slim. Occasionally it can be a problem with your aorta. Which probably should get seen too. If it's that intense it wouldn't do any harm to get checked over.

Butteredtoast55 · 14/12/2022 18:19

I had numerous negative tests and an internal examination which missed a pregnancy so was 26 weeks before it was confirmed. Get yourself checked!

panko · 14/12/2022 18:21

Go and see your GP. It could be serious.

Helpwithdaughterpls · 14/12/2022 18:23

I had this in lockdown. Was purely psychological. But I was terrified I was pregnant!

Musthavebeenbadinapastlife · 14/12/2022 18:23

I’ve had a hysterectomy but I still get strong feelings of a baby moving sometimes. I can feel it inside and, if I put my hand on my tummy I can feel movement with my hand. I can even see movement.
In my case it’s just digestion/gas but it only started happening once I was post menopausal.

babynobbaby · 14/12/2022 18:29

Earlier today I felt my stomach contract. No pain but a definite tightening of the stomach and then release after a couple of seconds.

I really hope this isn't the case for me. I really really do not want a pregnancy. Im very scared about all of this

In what way could it be serious?

i really think you need to get a scan. try window to the womb. they do gynae scans now to check ovaries etc so if you’re pregnant they’d obv see that too

CorporateBull · 14/12/2022 19:01

@babynobbaby it’s good that you’re not experiencing any bloating but it’s best to get any sort of unusual mass (which you are describing feeling) checked out.

Thank you! They actually have appointments tomorrow for £100 if I can't get anywhere with GP

Look up symptoms of a triple A.
I expect it's not that, but just to make sure.
Husband has one and is monitored yearly.
Xx

Orangio · 14/12/2022 19:18

Have you lost weight recently? I lost just a few pounds and suddenly could feel my aorta pulsing like crazy! I can also see and feel gas moving far more than before.
A mass could be lots of things. Is it always there and always in the same place? If so could be fibroids, cyst etc, and a small chance of something nasty (but unlikely). If it moves about my guess is gas! But theoretically yes it's possible it's pregnancy. Definitely get checked. Hope all is well.

Itsoktogiveup · 14/12/2022 19:21

Definitely have a scan, you need an internal ultrasound at least, preferably a colour one (private will do that, nhs may not).

I haven’t had a big ‘kick’ but I did have a fluttering feeling in my womb that felt exactly like early pregnancy. Turned out to be a bunch of polyps in my womb, luckily not cancerous but they needed to come out.

Itsoktogiveup · 14/12/2022 19:24

Ps I also had a few contractions that felt exactly like late stage labour, which was freaky, but it was my body trying to get rid of the polyps.

Lots of things that could be going on, definitely get a scan. My friend had a huge fibroid which turned out to have cancer inside it but luckily they found it and got it out before it spread.

babynobbaby · 15/12/2022 09:08

I have booked a scan for this afternoon it's a well woman scan to check womb ovaries etc so if I am pregnant it would show up and if I'm not then it'll be something to disregard

Thanks for those who replied
