Feel like I might puke. Celebrated the sloe gin being ready last night by drinking many sloe gin cocktails, incl putting it in champagne.

DH is fine, the rotten bastard.

I was at a cocktail party last night. I'm not too bad but my friend was still vomiting when she tried to get out of bed at 3pm...

I thought I had the hangover of a lifetime after a not hugely heavy night earlier this week and was ready to swear the drink off forever. Turns out I had covid 🤣

I’ve been hanging today, and had to face getting a bus then a train then a drive back from London. Am now in bed. Veering between feeling anxious and tearful. Ate the roast that DH cooked. I’d love to think it won’t happen again. It will 😣

I was there last Sunday!

I drink so rarely these days, and when I do I’m generally pretty good (again these days, not historically) at drinking plenty of water too, recognising as I’m approaching my limit and slowing down/ stopping when I need to.

I don’t know what the fuck happened to any of that last Saturday. I was a state. And Sunday (with a toddler) was particularly painful. Hopefully I’ve got it out of my system now, whilst with my oldest and least judgemental friends, and it will keep me on the straight and narrow for my works party later this week!

I've ordered chinese. Wanted McDonald's but I can't drive after last night plus it's icy as anything out there

I wish I'd read this post this morning. I woke up naked in bed with a sick bowl next to me. Had to host my Sons 5th birthday party approx 2 hours later. Awful. Giving up now for the foreseeable

It's all I could do to order a take away earlier. Are that then got into bed at 6.45.
