It's half heartedly tried but more like sleet when it comes down. Black ice over the entire town though which has been treacherous. Never seen so many people fall over in such a short amount of time. Cornwall.

cptartapp · 11/12/2022 14:25

Snowed quite heavily yesterday and has frozen overnight but no more snow. Still very cold.
North West.

TinaDina · 11/12/2022 14:29

Not today. It snowed quite a lot on Thursday, so the kids had to go into school late and had their Christmas cinema trip postponed (fingers crossed for no snow tomorrow, as that's when it's been rescheduled!).

Yesterday there was some proper snow with big flakes for a while, but now there's very little on the ground except for shady spots.

I'm NE Scotland.

Pineapplebread · 11/12/2022 14:32

Had a decent bit of snow on Wednesday but none since then, just rain and freezing into ice. North Scotland.

RocketIceLollie · 11/12/2022 14:32

No, not where we are in Devon but it has snowed in towns no more than miles from us. I don't want snow either. I don't like slipping around on pavements and treacherous driving conditions.

RocketIceLollie · 11/12/2022 14:33

*no more than ten miles from us, it has snowed.

OceanbreezeSun · 11/12/2022 14:34

No. We live near the sea , so rarely get the snow. Very icy and -2 at the moment though!

Notsa · 11/12/2022 14:35

Snowed pretty heavily (for us) yesterday which was nice but it has all frozen over night and I don't think we are getting any more now. North West.

WhyArePiratesCalledPirates · 11/12/2022 14:37

Yep!!! So pretty!

dementedma · 11/12/2022 14:51

Central Scotland. A scattering of snow and a slithering of ice here

Itwasntevenblackpudding · 11/12/2022 14:54

No snow but everything was white with frost this morning for the first time this winter. It's minus 5 outside.

I'm in sunny SW France!

hairycabbage · 11/12/2022 14:58

Yes, been snowing all day. Just south of Worcestershire

ListenLinda · 11/12/2022 14:59

Ah, we are north Bucks! It’s nothing worth getting excited about (yet).

skyeisthelimit · 11/12/2022 15:23

We had a lot here (North Devon). Some villages are cut off as the roads are so icy. Loads of events and attractions cancelled because of it. Loads of people getting stuck because they are stupid enough to venture out in it.

It's not warmed up enough for it to disappear, so will probably be on the ground for a couple of days.

InglouriousBasterd · 11/12/2022 15:25

It’s just started in outer London, much to DD’s joy!

Samcro · 11/12/2022 15:45

Yep in Brighton
cars can’t get up the estate
friend is stuck on a major road, very hilly in Brighton
