On and off since late October

Snowed in Glos - certainly wasn't forecast this morning. My lovely DH has seen cars skidding around locally this morning, and we know of a bus skidding - he's made his way to where I work as he wanted to be with me if I had problem. Looking at it out there, he reckons he's getting two buses to work tomorrow, rather than driving.

No snow but the frost has not lifted from the ground since Thursday. The temperatures are in the minuses and it is very icy. It looks very pretty and Christmassy on the trees, though. Suffolk.

Decent coverage now in East London

It snowed here on Thursday and we still have lots of it. But now it's very icy as it's freezing and all the snow is hard.

Kids had a great 2 days at school building igloos!

Tunbridge wells is absolute carnage! Abandoned cars, trains turfing people out. Roads are impassable.

My car is showing -5 near Glasgow. Ice is treacherous looking already, god help us through the night.

So back here in Surrey and a decent amount of snow now. Bearing in mind our idea of a decent amount is different to most other peoples. Like, we're not getting the skis out or anything but the kids are excited.

Yup, now have a decent 3 inches in North London. I look quite the fool having confidently told the children 'it is absolutely not going to snow, it never snows in London before January'.
