It's the start of advent for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so each day I'll be posting a simple picture from the Playmobil advent calendar. I haven't had time to do any complicated scenes this year so it will just be one small photo per day.

What's behind the door today?

It's a sleigh!

We kept our Christmas tree in a pot outside all year. We looked after it so well and were so happy it survived to be brought inside another Christmas. It wasn’t until we got it inside that we realised it had been used as a message post for all the local Tom cats ( and foxes, do foxes spray?). We couldn’t get the poor thing back outside fast enough.

"On the wonk" describes me perfectly. I love it!

I like that tree. Is that an Airfix tree fairy I see on the top

The fairy is ancient! But not Airfix. She dates from the 1960s, was one of the decorations my parents had on their tree every year. The tree lights are of a similar vintage.

Love that fairy!!! I’m sure we have one too, crepe paper skirt & plastic body isn’t it?

A tasty roast turkey and some chipolatas! But uh-oh, look who is interested in the meat...

Where there are sausages, that spotty dog is not far behind!

The dog seems very restrained I think. A cat would be on the table by now!!

i think Apollo is showing remarkable restraint.

i am successful in the main not having the dog counter surf. This would test the resolve.

I’m pretty sure that she would not be stood but sat, waiting patiently.

I think this picture was taken just in the moment before Apollo snaffled the sausages. He's not known for being restrained!

I'm just thawing out after attending a concert in a cold church this afternoon. Bit of a contrast from work this morning, which was both warm and very active!

Apparently they are in our village, someone captured them on a security camera but I have never seen them.

Our dog and there's gets very interested in patches in the park.
Cue dog walkers running, shouting Leave it! ☺️

I am sure these Playmobil foxes are far more fragrant.

Thank you! There are cats in Playmoland. Anyone who followed my Playmobil pandemic might remember Brandy the cat, who got stuck up a tree and had to be rescued by the fire service!
