Where the fuck have I hid the Xmas present

I buy Xmas presents throughout the year in an attempt at being organised. I'm so clever I even make a list of all gifts I buy on my phone (get me!)
However, I'm not so clever that I remember where I've hid them all! Went through the 'present cupboard' today and I can't find one of DS's important gifts. The one I know he's desperate for, and I know I've already bought it.....but can I find it? Can I heck as like!
I've searched the 'present cupboard', under the spare bed, in my bedroom drawers, in my wardrobe and still no joy. I've actually lost two presents but luckily one was only £2, however that's not the point!!
Anyone else as shit as me for putting things 'in a safe place'?

I recently lost my Pandora bracelet and I’d rolled it up in a pair of thick socks.

The present can't fit into socks which is something I suppose! It's a top for DS and I'm sure I'd left if it in the delivery packaging. Im pretty anally tidy so I'm really mad at myself. DH also thinks he's seen it somewhere but again - doesn't know where!🤷‍♀️

If you might have put it in a drawer take the drawer out and check it's not fallen down the back. I found a missing snake there once😂

It's in a bag along with something you bought for someone else, and you've forgotten it's in there too so you just keep thinking 'that's just that Thing for Thingie in that bag'

My Mum used to do this. One year I got the PopSwatch watch i was desperate for in May when she stumbled across it in the cupboard over the oven 🤣

One year the one present I had really wanted got stuck up the Christmas tree so I didn't get it til the new year

It was one of my inspirational hiding places one year as no other bugger ever looks in there

As it's an item of clothing, wouldn't St Michael be more appropriate?

Mine are on top of the wardrobe, attic, boot of car, under our bed or if they're massive at my mum's!

My mum did this - she found them several years later whilst cleaning out her wardrobe. Unsurprisingly I wasn't too thrilled to be offered a Kylie & Jason jigsaw at age 11!

Definitely not confused with DHs clothes. I'm going to get DH to go over and check all the places I've gone through today including my drawers and wardrobe.
It's so bloody frustrating!
Defo not in the washing basket, the loft or my boot. No way I could've put it in the kitchen - it's just not something I would do. That said - I once found my hairbrush in the fridge after looking for it for hours!

Could you check your bank statement and see what else you bought that day? It might refresh your memory.
