I've been looking at a brand called Ethique, although there are lots of others. Do these shampoo bars really work, or is it a huge faff?

And no they are easy to use you wet your hair and then wipe the bar down your hair to lather it in fact less waste than trying to hold onto a big blob of liquid shampoo in your hand and if like me losing half of it on the way to your hair

I use the as I find them pretty drying and my hair is naturally greasy, it's helped me wash less. Not difficult to use but I find some are better than others.

They work and are no faff. It's trial and error to find one you like as with anything really. I've never had one that I didn't feel clean with. Lots of people recommend the Gruum one although I found it really harsh (lots of lather) and it made my scalp itchy.

I like the ProCoal Shampoo Egg and the Earth Kind ones (can get both on Amazon)

I bought one from "Savers" for £1 as I didn't think it would work .
It was brilliant ,some sort of coconut smell and made my hair so shiny and clean
