What a lovely thread, @Doughnuts68 !
Just the thing to get us all in the mood. :-)

Some wonderful ideas here! Mine are grown up but 3 still at home, hopefully we'll be doing some light trails & suchlike without actually seeing Santa (although I'd love to see Santa & I'm in my 60's..) Eldest DD is having a family party, & I will be going to a Christingle for the first time in years, due to a house move, pandemic etc.. am SO looking forwards to it! No little ones to take, but I love seeing everyone else's, & singing carols. :-)

Both my DD's & I will be going to collect some holly & ivy from the woods, that seems to be a new family tradition since it was the only place we could be during the pandemic..

Chatsworth looks lovely for this year, too.. & I'd love a Christmassy train trip.. yes, it's all about ME.. second childhood, I think.. ;-)

@Florencenotflo thank you. The breakfast yorkies sound intriguing. I'd like to try them but as our nearest Toby Carvery is about 40 minutes away I'll probably just carry on being intrigued!
