just asking what side effects you have had and how long after jab did you get side effects, I am supposed to be having mine Tues morning but have a full day after that planned for Xmas shopping and lunch, just a bit worried in case I feel bit off.

I had a tender arm at the injection site for a day or two, started about 12 hours after the jab. That was pretty much it. Made it a little sore to sleep on .

MyCatsSlave · 06/11/2022 19:06

I had mine yesterday morning. I was fine all day until about 9 when my arm hurt at the injection site. Had a disturbed night as I sleep on my side and I’d had the covid jab in one arm and the flu jab in the other. Today I’ve been achy and tired but nothing too bad.

MrsMigginsCat · 06/11/2022 19:08

Had mine this morning. So far I have the beginnings of a sore arm. I fell asleep on the sofa this afternoon, but we've just come back from Australia so that's more likely to be jet lag rather than jab effects I think.

I was OK for 12 hours then felt rubbish for a day.

Id take paracetamol beforehand and at regular intervals and drink lots of water.

Afonavon · 06/11/2022 19:11

Just a sore arm if I pressed it. No other effects this time.

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 06/11/2022 19:13

I felt horrendous from the side effects for about four days and then the wound got infected.

I’m a bit of a delicate flower, though.

pinkkoala · 06/11/2022 19:14

I am on a night shift tomorrow night then going home to shower etc then the booster at 9am and then straight out, everyone I know that has had it has been poorly including residents and staff, so maybe I am worrying a bit.

Booster last Tuesday, sore arm shoulder to wrist, achy joints next day, felt cold, had easy day by the fire. Fine on Thursday, wasn’t until I had washed and dried hair that I remembered I had had jab.

Jaffacats · 06/11/2022 19:19

My arm was very sore within a few hours of the jab and wore off after 4 days. I also felt feverish and achey after 8hrs; those symptoms faded after about 48hrs.

FinallyHere · 06/11/2022 19:26

I've had no impact at all.

Slight concern that I got a dud batch.

Hbh17 · 06/11/2022 19:29

Very slightly sore arm (Covid & flu jabs both in same arm). Bit tired next day, but not sure if that was linked or just the end of a busy week. Only really felt noticeable side effects after the first Covid jab.

FlibbertyGibbitt · 06/11/2022 19:32

Had mine last weekend, both flu and covid. Felt rough Saturday night, felt like a temperature. Arm hurt covid side but not flu side.

whatisforteamum · 06/11/2022 19:39

We had ours sat am.
Sore arms and headache otherwise all good.

LittleMy77 · 06/11/2022 20:01

Swollen armpit and weird hard lump for about 5 days but no other issues. Dh had it at the weekend and has been laid up for 2 days v I’ll, including being sick.

really odd how it’s all so different (and we had the same jab)

mattcockhand · 06/11/2022 20:08

just had booster & have felt shit for 36 hours - aches, chills, fever etc.
have had the same reaction after all 4 jabs.
but have had covid twice without knowing, so maybe my extreme reaction now is a good thing?!!

Diyverymuchanewbie · 06/11/2022 20:11

My period was about two rage focussed weeks…but no immediate effects

Same here.

Felt worse after the jabs than when I actually had Covid.

Kite22 · 06/11/2022 20:12

Not felt poorly at all.
Arm was quite sore for about 36 hours.
Arm still tender to lie on at the moment, 3 days on.

dudsville · 06/11/2022 20:18

It's very mixed so you're not going to be able to glean how you'll do from this thread. I have two family members who are ill in bed for a week when they have flu/covid jabs so they plan a week off each time. Mine have all always been fine until my last covid jab. When i left i felt great, beautiful day, got a treat to have on the way home, smiling on a 10 min walk home, by the time i got home i had to lay down for the rest of the day. Didn't even take off my jacket, just laid down on the sofa. It was a if they'd hit the "pause" button on me! Only lasted that day thankfully but I'm a little anxious now as my next one is in the middle of a working day!

hampsteadmum · 06/11/2022 20:20

Just sore arm at the injection site and redness. Possibly a bit of a headache, but I had one before the jab so it might have been unrelated. Took paracetamol before going to bed. Did not stop my day at all (or the next one).

Lucinda7 · 06/11/2022 20:23

I didn't feel unwell from the covid booster but my arm did become extremely painful and I couldn't use it normally for a couple of days. I googled it and apparently this is a good sign that your immune system has dealt with the vaccine.

jay55 · 06/11/2022 20:23

Had it yesterday, felt like I'd been punched in the arm this morning. Otherwise fine.

OnTheBoardwalk · 06/11/2022 20:24

I was floored for days after the 3rd jab

4th jab just sore arm for 48 hours but nothing a couple of paracetamol didn’t fix. Only real issue was turning over on it during the night

borderterrierr · 06/11/2022 20:29

Sore arm
Temp of 39
Sweating
Sore enlarged lymph node in armpit

But I had both bivalent Pfizer and the flu jab 🤦‍♀️

Twospaniels · 06/11/2022 20:40

I had the Moderna for my 4th booster. After about 8 hrs I got a headache which was very heavy. By then it was evening and I went to bed early, was cold and shivery. The next day I still had the headache and heavy head, and felt very tired. I definitely would not have wanted to go anywhere and in fact spent the day on the sofa under a blanket. The following day I was absolutely fine. So was poorly maybe for 30hrs
I started paracetamol about half and hour before having the booster. I took two tablets and then took one tablet roughly every 4 hours until the following afternoon.
