I've tidied the house. Washing on. Covered garden furniture for winter. Food shop done. Now I'm at a lose end. DC are out with friends. DH watching football.

What are you all doing today ?

Making some bread in the bread maker, catching up with the soaps I missed as I worked 3 nights. Should really do the housework but that can wait till later.

Made some pancakes for breakfast for the kids before church.
Family service.

Playdate this afternoon - smallest squeezing in a nap first.

Definitely haven't managed to load the washing machine or tidy the house 😄

Both my DH & I are a bit virus, still lounging around. Had lots of lovely hot tea and toast! Got a washing on. 3 kids coming for dinner so will cook a big easy meal, chilli or the likes and watch Strictly results. Essential oil bath in a minute and exfoliation. Feeling very, very boring though!! 😬

Curled up on the sofa with my dh, watching greys anatomy, it's our 23rd wedding anniversary and we had to cancel all plans as we are both full of the killer virus doing the rounds, 🤧😷🤒 plus our 19 yr old ds's 3yr relationship came to an end last night and he's feeling a bit delicate, so he needs some tlc 💔

I had a lazy morning after getting soaked at the fireworks last night. Just hoovered up some leftover food that I made for friends last night before we went out and am now off out to the cinema.

I've changed the bedding, made a roast for later, also a tuna lasagna and chicken curry for the week, ironed kids uniform, done packed lunches. Going to a toy fair this afternoon with the kids, will be homework and baths later.

Husband cleaning out the fish tank and doing bits around the house and washed all wellies from last night muddy bonfire night.

Working 8-5. Enjoying hot chocolate on my break right now.

Early activity this morning with DS3 and the dog, then came home and the DSs are playing a game together. I went for a run with the dog. Just done tomato soup and cheese on toast for lunch.
We are all going out to pick the last of the apples before it gets dark. Then a hot bath for me, homework for the boys. Then when DH gets home he will do a roast. I hope to watch strictly while it is cooking!

Browsing Mumsnet while watching shopping telly (as brown noise mostly) and procrastinating as I need to do some job applications and email follow ups for annoying things by 6pm when I need to go out. In a moment I am going to make a panini with warm sliced boiled eggs in it and have another flavoured coffee pod. Maybe that'll get me in the mood to do the tasks I don't want to? 😝

Currently feeling guilty I can't play with ds6 and do the things I planned as I'm having to deep clean my bedroom as I found mould. 😭😭

I may watch I'm a Celeb later, I haven't for years but it's something to WhatsApp about with family rather than all the serious or boring stuff and I'm a bit 😲 regarding some people on it this year. Feel the need to have those watercooler moments this season about it all.

We live in Spain and it's really warm so we are popping to the beach with family who are here.
Later we'll be back home for dinner , a few glasses of wine and I'm a Celeb 😁

Had a massive lie in after going to the gymnastics yesterday 😊 DD and DH are at her football, DS1 in his room and haven't seen DS 2 yet!
Big match here later - their team (all of them) against mine 😟
Then we're going out for dinner with our friends and their children who we haven't seen for ages - all the kids are grown up
Tomorrow I have a gastroscope which I am dreading so doing anything to distract myself today

volunteer-walked dog (who hated the rain)
changed out of soaking wet (rain) clothes
ate breakfast
prepared apple crumble
went swimming
cooked apple crumble
brought wood indoors for fire
emptied dishwasher

Now: eating apple crumble

Later: Another 3-4 hours of work?
Might compose Xmas letter and even print it out & put in envelopes

make DS tea, both of us eat
pester DS to be ready for school tomorrow
talk to my parents on phone
some financial admin

Lying on my bed in an empty house eating scampi and lemon nik naks. Hot water bottle under the quilt and the bed has 3 cats and 2 puppies sprawled on it. I don't need to move for hours. I'm so happy.

Did some cross stitch early morning then we went to play badminton and do a gym workout. Asda on the way home and just had soup and fresh bread with proper butter for lunch. About to head out to b&q for paint tester pots and then nip into morrisons for something we couldn't get in asda. Might have a nap before making dinner 😁

Hanging around waiting for my wife to go into labour naturally for be induced in 2 days.

Also planning a platter of soft cheese, fine ham and everything else she hasn't been able to enjoy

Meant to have a big family sort out of crap stuff going room by room. DH had work to sort out instead, and I can't sort without DC(4) getting bored so instead we've watched some kids tv, played a dance game on the wii, counted piggy bank coins, played teachers, played restaurants, coloured in and just watched kung-fu panda 2 on tv. Now we're doing more writing/colouring.

Maybe at some point we'll do a mini clear (although just the bomb site of the living room at this rate) and then have a roast. DH will tag in and I'll get a nice bath with a big glass of red. Then he'll do bath and bedtime.

Sunday roast, washing and bingeing new Amsterdam also working. Queen of multitasking. Partner did all housework yesterday whilst I had my COVID booster and went to Sainsbury's

I'm doing none of the things I should be doing. DC at their dad's today so always plan big things in the house, declutter, tidy clean. Am laying on the sofa scrolling.

My day has been a mission.

Pancakes for breakfast, had 3 quotes for decorators, 3 loads of washing, been the shops 2 refunds, one carpet cleaner purchased, 1 birthday sorted out just cake left to get. Now l am just waiting for my lit to vacate and l am going to tidy through and tidy my car. When they get back l need to get the to tidy their rooms and l might change the beds. What a day off!!!

Husband and I walked the dog. Mom took me to collect something I had bought off Facebook. I went to Sainsbury's. Now reading and watching the snooker while my husband cooks dinner......

Just back from a party. All 3 DC were invited (very kind of the parents but they'd extended the same invite to everyone and it was the biggest party I've ever been to!)

Bit of entertainment for the birthday aged kids but it was mainly sweets, music and kids of all ages left to run around. Mine all loved it but I'm a bit traumatised 😂

DP is going to take them on a long bike ride to burn off some of the energy and I'm going to put the stew on and tackle the ironing.

Food shopping this morning. Now lying in bed watching The Exorcist.
