Google podcasts

SheWoreYellow · 01/11/2022 19:57

That’s a bit blunt ☺️

What I mean, is in adverts for podcasts, they say available on err some website, or “wherever you get your podcasts” which sounds like there are loads of podcasts out there if I knew where to look. There’s the purple apple app. Anywhere else worth looking?

Northernsoullover · 01/11/2022 19:57

I get mine on Google

CaveMum · 01/11/2022 19:57

I get most of mine on Apple podcasts, though a few have moved over to Spotify now.

SheWoreYellow · 01/11/2022 19:58

Ooh lots of people actually understood! Thanks!

I use Spotify

ScreamingMeMe · 01/11/2022 20:00

I use an app called Podbean.

PopcornChewingGum · 01/11/2022 20:02

Sorry to hijack, but anyone else find the purple Apple podcast app frustrating to use ? It will replay the same thing a million times, lose the podcast I'm in the middle of, arbitrarily play back-to-back episodes of one show , even if I'm not following the afore -mentioned show. Drives me crazy!

There are loads of podcasts out there, on spotify and apple 😁

I don't think I understand your question, whats blunt?

Dogsgottabone · 01/11/2022 20:04

Spotify. Though I only listen to The rest is politics.

I don't like the News Agents, despite being massive Americast fan.

And I miss Laura K and Katya A getting pissed on the eurostar and talking high level nonsense.

Takingturnstogether · 01/11/2022 20:05

Stitcher app

eurochick · 01/11/2022 20:05

I'm not sure what was blunt? I think every poster has answered the question.

I use a mix of Apple podcasts, Spotify and BBC Sounds.

Yes I don’t find it very user friendly. May switch to Spotify

OddBoots · 01/11/2022 20:06

I use and really like the 'Pocket Casts' app on my (android) phone.

Hugasauras · 01/11/2022 20:07

There are dozens and dozens of apps for podcasts. Most do pretty much the same thing (let you find and play podcasts!) but have slightly different features or user experiences. I use Overcast.

Heartbreaktuna · 01/11/2022 20:08

I use podcast Republic.

notacooldad · 01/11/2022 20:10

I use Castbox and Spotify for my podcasts. I have 100 podcasts which is the max I can have stored for free on Castbox so every now and then I have a thin out to put new podcasts on.

AquaticSewingMachine · 01/11/2022 20:13

I use Pocketcasts, but there are loads of apps you can use to find podcasts. Hence the line.

luciaann · 01/11/2022 20:14

Overcast is my fave

luciaann · 01/11/2022 20:14

@PopcornChewingGum yeah I used to always use that one but it would never play the last thing I listened too it was so frustrating

AlwaysFoldingWashing · 01/11/2022 20:20

Spotify
