What on EARTH do I wear with blue jeans?!

As the title says really!
I've always lived in black jeans, for as long as I can remember. But I'm wanting to try and switch it up a little, especially as I'm sure that everyone around me must think I live in the same pair day in, day out 🤣

(I don't, I've got multiple!!)

So I've bought myself a pair of acid washed blue skinny jeans to try.. but I have NO idea what to pair with them too and footwear wise.

Has anybody got any ideas?

Anything, it's the joy of jeans they go with pretty much anything!

I usually pair mine with a T-shirt or a comfy hoodie, depending on the weather. Footwear depends on the weather too. Although I wouldn’t touch high heels with a bargepole, at any time of year.

Anything - that is the whole point of blue jeans.

I love this blog. The blogger is US based and older than I am, so her style is not 100% mine (or yours perhaps!) but I love how she puts things together. Loads of jeans ideas here.

I get you op! I don’t often wear blue jeans and when I do I really have to think what works well with them. I know that most people think blue jeans go with anything but I’ve never felt like that about them

I wear white trainers in summer, black boots in winter, any colour top, any colour jumper, lightweight puffa jacket in winter. I live in blue jeans, I wear my ankle length ones in summer and heavier ones with the bottoms rolled up in winter.

The trick is to not think of them as being blue trousers. Think of them as neutral, because they work like a neutral.

I wear all colours and all styles with blue jeans. Anything goes! I have more trouble knowing what to wear with black jeans - for example I feel I can't wear blue, black or brown tops with black jeans. In my mind those colours don't go with black.

Sorry I should have explained more!! I wouldn't ever pair black with blue jeans for example, and I find I'm a bit of a creature of habit and find myself with more and more black tops and jumpers etc in my wardrobe! I couldn't pair blue jeans with a black top and boots, I'm not sure why it just sends alarms off in my head 🤣🤣

You can now wear navy with your jeans since they are not black. Yay! Seriously though, it's what I love about blue jeans - absolutely anything goes. Even black, although you say you're not keen. Don't think of them as blue, but rather neutral. Footwear is also easy for you as your jeans are skinny, so Chelsea boots, lace up boots, trainers, brogues. Loads of colours if you don't want to wear black, but I wear only black footwear in winter myself. Bit more adventurous in summer though!!
