When to put out my Halloween sweets?

Halloween night is on Monday this year but I was wondering when people are going Trick or Treating? As I have a dog I always put my pumpkin/sweets out in the front garden. Thanks.

On Halloween.

Sweets and tirck or treating will happen only in Monday. It doesn't switch to a weekend just because its falling on a weekday it happens as it does and always has only on the 31st.

Halloween is one night. The 31st. If you come to my house before Monday you'll be getting bugger all. You can't change the night because you'd prefer to go at the weekend. 🎃

Why would people need ask what time to put sweets out that won't change just because this year its on a Monday and not a weekend. Kids normally go out from 4.30/5ish for the littles up to about 8/8. 30.

The day won't change what time people go out as they will start when it starts to get dark like they always do?

Well if you live in the town near me they will be trick or treating tonight because the town decided long ago that they celebrate Halloween on the last Friday of October regardless of what day Halloween falls

What kind of nonsense is that, so what do you do on actual Halloween? How random of your town to make such a decision.

It's not my town just a town near me!

And I have no idea what they do on the 31st to be honest. It's the way it's always been done there and nobody really knows why

Appologies yes not your town I can see why you wouldn't want to be associated with some nonsensical decisions.

You need to find someone and ask what they do on the 31st if its not a Friday I'm so intrigued.

I think they just treat it like a normal day while the rest of the world is celebrating Halloween

So if Halloween is a Thursday they will trick or treat on the 25th!
