So many people on the least favourite thread have said they hate hanging out wet washing, but I find that the most satisfying 😂 It totally brings out my inner 1950s housewife to see washing flapping on the line (actual proper washing line rather than a whirly), then bringing it in and it smelling all fresh and of outdoors.
We won”t speak of what needs to happen to it thereafter!

Probably the bathroom because I hate it so much so put off doing it. But when it’s all fresh and sparkly it’s a real treat.

Totally with you on this OP. I love doing laundry, not so much the putting away part but the washing and drying part is something I really enjoy 😁

Cleaning the log burner - so satisfying to have it all tidy with shiny clear glass.

Emptying the dishwasher!!

I hate ironing but find it the most satisfying especially as I start work at 7am I need to be prepared in the morning.

Pressure washing the patio

Pegging out washing, or vacuuming. The place instantly looks better after a good vac.

Organising the kitchen cupboards or the fridge. I like having one shelf in the larder unit for tins, one for dried pasta/rice/noodles, one for jars etc. Similarly to the fridge I have one shelf for fruit and veg, one for milk/yoghurt/cheese etc.

Hoovering for me. It makes such a difference and makes the room look so much better after just a minute effort.

None of them are satisfying. They’re just a necessary evil.

Yes to this. Especially now I have my new Shark cordless vacuum, so much better than my old Dyson. I love seeing how much dust and hair it’s picked up, very satisfying!

Changing the bedding. Especially if it's been hung outside to dry. SuperKingsize so it's a massive pain / faff but lovely when I get into a freshly made bed In The evening.

Organising cupboards especially the laundry room, and I am one of those people who puts all the laundry things into pretty bottles.
cleaning the bathroom
cleaning the kitchens
doing laundry ( I do the laundry, dh puts it away and folds it)
putting away the food shopping
restocking cleaning things and topping up laundry bottles

Rearranging furniture and emptying everything to declutter. Granted half the time I end up really tired but with a huge pile of old clothes on my bed at bedtime that gets chucked somewhere til tomorrow or the day after... Or weekend but i just love the empty shelves/drawers after

I enjoy emptying the lint collecter in my tumble dryer.

I like cleaning but especially with products that create a lot of soap suds. It's just so satisfying.

Also using bleach because I cannot get enough of the smell .

washing up and wiping down kitchen sides my kitchen is fairly new i want it to stay that way

I'm totally housework averse, I leave that to DP.

However I do love a declutter. It is soooo satisfying seeing bags of (good) stuff for the charity shop, boxes of crap for the dump, and empty wardrobe space. My biggest downfall is electronic stuff. So many effin chargers and plugs and I really can't get rid of em. They are allowed in one box only now.
